Unfortunately I believe its totally an undiscovered variety of sativas, we do live in paradise interms of climate, but very undeveloped, not using our potential for growing.

The original strain that is mixed for generations in this region, is the Ethiopian Highland Strain which originates from the Highlands of Tanzania (as I researched) Rarely are ppl here growing for personal use, only commercial and there is no quality or strain type control, resulting in too many strains (an area to be discovered)

therefore answering your question im always adding a favorite that is worth keeping :),  must have grown around 8 different strains, with 3 favorites.

If your interested I can try to Dec 12. 18weeks (4month2weeks) 002.JPGship you a variety of seeds to test, it would be interesting to get feedback <)

EastAfrican Flavour,

The question is not whether we would like to receive seeds from you.  I'm sure all StrainHunters would love to receive them.  The problem is as always, packages entering Europe or the United States are strongly controlled, opened and inspected.  You must be very skilled in stealth packaging to overcome those inspections.

Another way is to transport them by a courier, but again, very skilled concealment is required.  Unfortunately, if caught, the courier pays the high price of confinement.

I know of a few tricks but only for small quantities of seeds, and I dare not describe those tricks here in an open forum.  And I do not have any connections to be able to arrange for a courier.  Maybe there are some here who do have such connections to arrange for transport in some form or another, but I cannot speak for them.

Here's an idea:  If you wish to visit Amsterdam to bring them to the StrainHunters Central, then YOU would be the courier.  But then again, I cannot speak for the others to make such an arrangement, and the risk would be all yours.

Another idea:  The StrainHunters may be interested in seeing the Cannabis fields of Ethiopia for another documentary.  If you have connections to those growers who would also arrange for security and safety for the StrainHunters crew, then maybe you could extend an invitation to the StrainHunters.  Again, I cannot speak for them.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
