 Hey Everyone,

Ive been reading a lot of content here. It's very informative and helpful. There is also some very entertaining content in the Chill Out Lounge. So I decided to share my other passion with you all. I am an amateur video editor, graphic artist, and admin of my own site that has most of my art work and video's on it. Feel free to check it out. I think most of you will find it interesting content. curtainofnight.com

Here is my latest video, It's a mash up of Second City Televisions and World of Warcraft. I used the audio from a comedy skit SCTV did. The WoW model viewer, and a few adobe apps. I also used fraps to film the scene.

Nice dude! Would you mind if we all use this tread to share our other passion as well? Just asking to avoid multiple treads with similar subject "another of our passion"

Or maybe you just want to keep it for yourself in order to share your little projects which is fine too by the way.

cheers

I used to build RC controlled airplanes from scratch.

Here is a link to one of the model I use to fly.

https://youtu.be/kwQJATwBiyk

The plane were build out of Deprom foam 5mm thickness, the parts were cut out and hot glued together. The electronics was Velcro on or in the fuselage. I really enjoyed it but I haven't done any in a long time now.

I have better video or plane I have made than this one, maybe if I find them I'll pass the link if anyone's interested lol.

Very Cool, I have a friend at work that builds some of his own planes too. He's even got a drone with a camera and view helm.

Uh-Oh, Cropcicle, I think you may have just opened a monster-successful thread.  Everyone likes to show off their "other" passion...

Let's see how long this thread runs...

Oh Croc, do link more videos of your planes.

That's a cool hobby you do...

I like your playground and that beautiful cat.

Nice work, Cropsicle.  The Light Saber is phenomenal.  You're driving it with ... what ... 2 to 3 grams P238?  And who did you hire for the mirrored chamber?

Well done.

p239 a little more volatile, adds a little extra green to the blade. Thank you for visiting the site and glad you liked the saber. I was thinking of trying a pirate ship next. That would be a big project though.

Cheers, I will search for my other videos... I was member of a Pakistani RC forum when I was in the UAE and really started this passion with an old Pakistani fellow I met when i brought my very first profile build and he helped me out and it all started there.

The location is from the compound I was living in in the small town of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE, beautiful location within a full size golf course and my flying zone was from the Golf course ? I used to place a small cam onboard to have nice areal footage.... but i never flew FPV (First Pilot View) with goggles not screen...

It was beautiful! Anyways now in asian and longing to start this again.

so many things to do and so little time as they say!

Thanks Croc.  Those are nice.  I sortof figured that first video you were flying over a golf course.  I thought it might have been in Spain, but I now see these are mostly in the Middle East.

That crazy crow is funny.

@Cropsicle, pirate ship.....     maybe the ghost-ship "Black Pearl"?  Well, I guess Disney already did that... But maybe you can do it better, maybe in 3-D with the capability to roam about in her...

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
