[Indoor] Super Lemon Haze - When is the best time to flower these ladies?

4 posts in this topic

I have not yet ordered the seeds, but will in a short time. I just came from another seed bank which i am sick and tired of. I see you have much much more to offer than (most likely) any others and i just feel sad i didn't find you until now. But happy i did now. However, let's move on to my question.

Iv'e decided to breed a couple of Super Lemon Haze (unless you advice me other).

My growroom is 1,25sqm, not that big. So i am looking for a strain that can give me high yield, and rather grow on hight than width. I like it when it's strong and long lasting, so i don't have to smoke to often. I think i found the right strain for my purpose. Now, some questions remains in my head that i humbly ask for guidance about:

1. How many of these do you think i more or less can grow with success on this small area? (1,25sqm/indoor)

2. Is there a precise timing for flowering, or can i bend a little on it and perhaps flower them sooner, and how soon?

3. Instructions say 10 weeks, but is it better with 9 or 11 weeks?

.. Any advices how to increase/maximize the yield in my small grow room is highly appreciated.

I've grown out Super Lemon Haze several times over the last year. Here is a link to my latest grow:

She can get wide, but if you only have one in your area she should do ok. She is not that wide, but can get a little wild. My last one is 7 weeks into bud, you can see her flower pics on the post, she gets very sticky, is not hard to grow, and finishes in 9-11 weeks.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your post Jay Ryan.

I have been selected to breed some test seeds. So I'm not quite sure about if i will grow this strain anymore (probably not). However, been thinking up and down and outside the box about how i can maximize my little grow area. Growing just a plant is out of the question. I will try with 12 and then if the situation requires me to grow less, i'll chop a few or give away to some friend. But i think 12 is possible.

My equipment is:

1x 250w CFL white 6400k @ 15000 lumen

1x 250w CFL red 2700k @ 15000 lumen

1x 400w Philips red/orange SON-T PIA 400W @ 90000 lumen (mounted on a digital ballast)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
