Just a quick update and also a question

all my seeds have sprouted so happy with that

my question is. Could I have 2 led lights in my grow tent

my led light is 1200 watt but true watts are 541?

If they fit, then yes, but you must watch-out for heat-build-up.

But really, at this stage, the plants are so small, there is not enough foliage to absorb all that light-energy.  It might be  just a waste of energy.

I was thinking about putting the other light on after 3 weeks from now. What would you say?

I would say the same as I said before.

Whether there is enough foliage to warrent the extra energy-expense is up to you.

For me personally, I am happy with my single LED lamp with 90 3-Watt LEDs (270 Watts) that I have used to flower as many as 8 plants at a time. Yes, it was crowded, and I paid for it with infestations and mold problems.

The same lamp with 6 plants, things ran a little better.

But today, I am happy to flower 4 plants at a time.  I get better results per plant and fewer problems.

Hi

well I think I will wait until my plants grow to about 10 inches across and then put the other light on. But I am going to let my plants veg for 8 weeks. That's from seed.

Ok, then.  I shall certainly watch.  With so much light energy, these plants (not pants, LOL) should have a great yield.

That's a lot of LED watts for plants so young.

You sure it is 1082 REAL LED watts and if so what units are they?

My Lights are made by airforce and sold on Amazon

on the specs it says 541 true watts per lamp but the wattage they come under is 1200 watts

hope that answers your question

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
