Today, Jan 23, 2011 our Super Critical & Super Critical Auto flowering are 63 days old. They have stopped growing in height and the buds along the stem and on top are growing, but they are small and compact. We are still on a Foxfarm outdoor nutrient program: Open Sesame, Beasty Bloom & ChaChing. We noticed rather high ph in our well water of 7.8 have some nutrient lock-up. We reduced the ph of the water with vinegar to about 5.8 - 6.0 and thoroughly flushed every plant with about 2 gallons of water each. The next day the plants looked greener & lusher. We have not had any rain and most days have been sunny with temps in the mid 90's during the day and in the low 70's at night. Humidity is around 50% or less. As mentioned before, this strain is not well suited for this 12/12 light cycle. In order to grow to their full potential they need a lot more daylight, therefore a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle.

Here is the last and final update on the Super Critical Auto-flowering test seeds. As mentioned before, this strain is not well suited for our 12/12 light cycle. In order to grow to their full potential they need a lot more daylight, therefore a 18/6 or 20/4 light cycle. These plants need to have the proper pH from 6.2 to 6.5 in order to grow properly. Our pH was a bit high for this strain, at 6.8 to 7.0, which also did not allow these plants to flower to their fullest potential. It's a great strain, as long as the environment is perfect. About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
