Anatolian... I'm not a guru or expert but looks to me that u need to cut back your watering cycle, I'll let them dry for around 5 days & then star a longer watering/feeding cycle. Whay kind of Hydro system are u using?

How big are your pots? Water 10% of Capacity ( 20L pots needs 2L water)

How much do you water? Wait until the soil is dry before re-watering ( stick a finger in the soil if it's humid dont water)

Do you give them tap water with or without correcting PH? High PH can be really devastating

Looks like locked out nitrogene. Or light insufficience.

Maybe wrong feeding. What fertilizers do you use. Please give us more informations about

light and your feeding and fertilizer cycles.

im watering once for every 3 days(1L for 1 pot)! im feeding them with compost tea(once a week) with out any burning! they'r not over water or fert burn but i think they need more drainage in their pots!! i checked everythings as well twice! and they'r not growing in hydro im growing them in soil less mix (peat&perlite)

Then buddy its overwatering i can say. But the signs of overwatered plants are mostly curled leafs. The leafs stay mostly green unless you do not to often, then you can burn the leafs. But what i can say is that 1 liter every 3 days is to much or to less. Whats the important thing in growing is, the plants not need water at the same times.

You must check with the fingers the top soil and !underside! of the pots. If you have watered when they wet on the underside it is rott or can be root rott. You can recover them, it is a resiliant plant. But not without a replant!!

Much luck with it.

mate i know if the plant over watered how its looks like... and i check the top of soil before when i watering.. i think the roots got stress (mold) because of deficient holes for drainage(Air&Water).. i've no bigger pots yet for transplanting :( i have to wait till them get die or harvest....

could plants get stop to flowering because of this reason???

It is over watering Anatolian... & as Markus says you probably need to re-pot them, the soil mix u're using is keeping moist the plants much more than you think, I used that soil for a while in F&D & it holds lots of humidity, it's very tricky & can fool u constantly plus is hard for the roots to get oxygen in it & it gets worst when overwater. The roots need to go through a wet and dry cycle & its no happening because you're given them no time to do so.

Yes, Anatolian + the resin production reduces & the buds get to have lots of water in them, when dry they go below 30% of the size, takes longer to dry them & the lack of potency is huge.

Hey angus :), 30% is not correct. 57% weight they reduce in normal case, so 30% is a little less for reduction.

How big are your pots? Water 10% of Capacity ( 20L pots needs 2L water)

Just let me say that personaly I consider this the top maximum amount of water at a given time (without counting total flushes).

I had several overwater problems wen I used the 10% "rule". I had that problem in diferent strains and at diferent times, and always watered after bone dry soil.

So I cuted back to 1/4 to 1/2 of those 10%. So in a 18L pot I water 500ml 3 to 4 times and on the forth / fifth watering I give 1L , (I dont even go to the max 1.8L in my case).

Never had any more problems with overwatering since then.

It makes me water more often but they like it more like that, more regular oxigen available in a shorter time interval (consider that I always let them bone dry before next watering, to the oxigen is available around the roots.

The benefit of even smaller amounts then the 10% at each time have a double advantage:

first: Since we are giving the medium a smaller amount of water it will also displace less oxigen (from the one that is inside the medium due to it being dry before watering again).

I dont even have any runoff wen watering with 500ml in a 18L pot, only after one hour I start to see the leca balls on the bottom of the pot trough the drain holes getting wet!

second: We can control more rapidly any sign of deficiencies or requests of higher EC's etc ; because we are watering much more often it is giving us the grower, faster control!

I know this by self experience.

I'm a soil grower, so it may have to be considered.

Take care

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
