Curing

4 posts in this topic

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but here goes.

I have a general routine I go through post harvest to dry and cure the flowers. Some times I have to travel for work, and a few weeks ago I had to be away for a full week. I had just finished my harvest, and decided to let my flowers stay drying longer, rather than wind up with mold from wet weed.

Now I have a bunch of over dried flowers in glass jars.

For smoking, it's no problem at all, but if I want to bring product to the medical centers and distribute it, a half a pound basically weighs a quarter pound. Well, maybe not that bad, but you get the idea.

What is the best technique to rehydrate ones flowers?

Thanks!!!

I think if you let them in the jars hermeticly close, and not open it for a few days weeks? it's what happens with mine when i do it ^^

Maybe my house's humidity is higher than yours ;)

good luck

Thanks Dust, I have them closed now, and will see what happens. Plus we have rain this week, so maybe I should leave them open ;)

The biggest problem we have in California is that it is usually very very dry here.

I would go to a cigar store and buy a little container of gel they use in a humidor and put that in the jar,but not to close to the buds

And check daily, I've done this in the past and it worked well

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
