Attention Deficit Disorder strain could be used?

Hi,

I'm not diagnosed with ADD yet, but I know for sure I have a severe condition. I put a lot of thought into it, and realised cannabis did help me a lot through my life dealing with this neurologic deficience. It helped me with headache, concentration, socialisation, asthma, sleep, eating, physical pain (back, neck, shoulder).

Also, I'm the type of guy who like do to research (my brain is like a sponge), I do like to help other people and figured out I could do some research on the effect of marijuanna as medication for ADD on the sideline.

I don't really know where to start with the strain, I think both sativa and indica could be at use, but I'm seeking the best for this treatment.

So my first of many questions to come is, what are the strains I could go to to help with the following symptom:

- depression (I do smoke a lot of indica (street pot), and switching to sativa could do good)

- concentration (I have a hard time with this, hence I sometime get hyperfocus on thing I like, but I which I could get concentration by doing everyday life things)

- eating (maybe there is a strain that has a less agressive eating, when I don't smoke I don't eat, when I smoke I eat too much, I need somekind of balance)

- physical pain, I do a lot of intense sport (Hockey, jiu jitsu, boxe) so I get a lot of injury

- sleeping, it takes me hours to go to sleep, and when I don't smoke, I'm happy when I get 3-4 hours of total sleep

- creativity, this is something I would like to augment, I'm going to work in R&D, so creativity and artistic skill will get me noticed, so I would like to know if some strain help that aspect

Soon I'll be ordering different strain to test them out, here it's legal for medication, I don't have a permit yet, but I'll work on this through the next year. So what would be a good strain diversity to test? I mean, if I buy 10 feminzed seed, what would be the best to start up with? I don't really car for high volume, but I do care about the effect. Also, since I soon might be able to smoke at school, I wish I would get rid of the odor associated with pot. Are there any strains that has a good smoking odor? That won't bother my collegue?

Thank you for your help, it's much more easier to ask it here instead of ADD forums where there's too much premade idea about cannabis, they often see it as a demon. Even my psychiatrist told me to stop marijuanna, find other friends, still she looked like she knew nothing about cannabis nor ADD.

I got through the greenhouse strain database, I prefere a more serious company since quality is my first priority. So here's what I've come up with so far:

- Super Lemon Haze : " ... very balanced between a physical and a cerebral side" is something interesting, the keyword here is balance!

- NL5 Haze Mist : " complexe and enjoyable high", also what is interesting is the high level of CBG, 7.29%, after a few reading, CBG has effect on adrenergic receptor which are responsible to mediate neural transmission, which is the first impairement of ADD.

- The doctor : CBG level of 0.31%, which is an opposition to the previous strain, which would help determining the effect of CBG

- Arjan Haze 3 : "euphoric, social and creative high" That's something to test out.

- Big Bang : Seem to have good property for sleeping and has a 0% of CBD, which will help determining the effect of CBD on ADD symptoms

- The Church: 0% for both CBD and CBG

- white Rhino; seemed to have medicinal property I would like to check out.

I would also like to know if it would be possible to buy a mixed pack of those strain. I know greenhouse already has premixed strain pack, but this is more as a research than a seek for high.

You see what I'm looking for in strains, maybe you have other to propose!

I'm growing Cannatonic... Here the strain info:

Hybrid cross between a female MK Ultra (F1) & the all time famous G13 Haze male.

THC: 1:1 ratio THC:CBD

" Cannatonic samples show an unbelievable 6.92% CBD at Spannabis testing:

During the Spannabis fair in Barcelona 2009, at the stand of CANNA, 2 different sample of Cannatonic tested high on THC and CBD (see results 12 and 13 in the below listing) . where do you get this strain from? CBG seem to be good with noradrenaline, which is something ADD people lacks...

My friend your symptoms are like reading from my life story i was diagnosed with add early in my life but the truth ended up being i have bi polar affective disorder which causes that exact pattern.I'm training to treat people using marihuana and i also am bipolar in that way and i think you should do some research into that disorder because it sure sounds to rme like what i went through till i got help and they thought it was add for years. MSG me if you'd like , I'd like to discuss this with you if only to try and help

Thank you, I just need to do some adjustment as for now it would be hard to grow pot here without some legal backup. Which I'll get in the next few months. I always wanted to help other and if by doing some research and proving to other people that cannabis can lead to people being successful, why hesitate...

Lostisland, I checked about bipolar syndrome and doesn't really fit to me. I know those two are really close, my personnal doctor hesitated between bipolar and ADD. But I do not have cycle, I mean sometime I'm happy sometime feel depressed, but this as only to do with things going on around me. Also, I checked on the DSM-IV list, and one of the first symptome to check out (normally they go by importance) is "Grandiosity" which mean to be exagerating our on talents and invulnerability. In fact, I suffer from low self-esteem and find it sometime difficult to do new things or approach other people because I fear I won't be up to the task and trying will only lead to deception.

I have a friend who's not diagnosed with bipolar, but I'm sure he has it. He does find imself invulnerable is think he's good at everything, no sorry, the best at everything. Also, I did some test and research and ADD symptome are like someone took some time writing about me. Thank you for your conscern!

By the way, how cannabis did help you out? Since a friend of mine most likely is bipolar, I could try out some different strains and see how is behavior change.

Im also a sufferer of severe generalized/social anxiety, whats strains are best for this neuronical disorder? Canatonic sounds like a very good medical strain.
