Sure my friend, no problems

You have to flush - salts have biult up in your medium.

run 3 times the volume of the pot;

fresh water through the medium.

Do you use ozone?

also some details would help - what medium are using - soil or hydro?

what nutrients do you feed your plant?

How often do you water?

do not worry, we will fix her for u

ok mate,

happy growing,

john

I have had another look at your pictures;

after you flush

let your plants dry right out;

I think the same a Jimmy; too much water.

the roots have to have access to oxygen in order to absorb the nutrients from the soil.

if they are too wet or damp then they become unhealthy and cannot absorn nutrients from the soil.

flush, let them dry right out.

and then start giving them nutrients again.

No, your plants will be fine as once you have flushed and water less,

the roots will be able to asorb these elements;

until the flush and letting the medium dry out,

the plants will not be able to take up those nutrients very effectively.

keep osting and I will keep an eye on them for you,

happy growing,

john

hi

if i do water 500ml every two days the soil will be very dry by the time its time to water again.

i know what you are saying jimmy i have also got a grow tent which has the same pots

and only uses 300-400ml every two days.

this plants are not in a tent but in a room and the soil drys more quicker

compared to the tent so i thought it would take more water/feed.

i gave 1L every two days because it looked like they needed it but same didnt (as oldgoat says)

so i gave them less.

anyway i did some flushing today and the EC reading that i tested was really high 2.8-3.8 EC

i was shocked as i was only giving 1 EC feed.

because i was watering 1L evrey two days the nutrients couldnt be used and settled in the pots

and caused leaf burn, correct

will i start with with a weak feed after the flush when they have dried?

i was suppose to start the pk13/14 and bud XL this saturday will i need to wait a bit longer

because of the flush?

thanks for the help

john, jimmy and oldgoat

To me this looks like a nutrient burn. Flush as others have said. Just a comment on watering. I water every other day or so. I use 4 lt per 5-7 gal pot, but I will use a moisture tester and give the pot a lift to see if it's heavy or not. My plants are from 75 cm-1.25 cm tall. I think that when watering you have to judge every plants individual needs and can't use a one size fits all formula. Every grow room is different and unique.

If your grow medium has good drainage (pearlite, vermiculite) , you shouldn't have an over watering problem. As long as you have good drainage holes in your pots. The more the better. I water til it runs out the bottom of teh pot. This insures flushing of the excess nutes each time you water. Just don't let your roots sit in the water for too long.

Hi breenzer, as everyone said looks like you need a good flush ^^

I would just add that in some case like you said, from your tents to the room the soil dry faster, but it doesn't mean that your plants will eat the nutes faster, so you have to judge when to feed them, but if i were you i would feed them 1 to 2 times by week and only hard water with some nitrozyme or something like that the rest of the times.

And don't forget to let your leaves go down at least one day before watering so you will see when your plants really needs it and adjust your watering after. But it loked like you did that already no?

Have a good grow man ;)

hi dust

because the grow aint at home it can be a bit hard to check and look as the time window is small.

i did flush yesterday and today and the plants i did yesterday are looking a lot better already.

the plant are in the forth week of flower on saturday but because of the flush i think i'll wait til

they dry and give them a normal feed of base nutrients then wait untill its time to start the

PK13/14 and budXL. if i am incorrect eveyone please correct me anyone.

thanks

Now that you have flushed continue with the normal feed adding some N, John will tell you for sure but my suspicion is the lock out from the salts has starved her of N, so feed as normal once soil is bone dry and im sure some NPK and some boost will see you right.

i did a flush last week and havent water/feed them yet the soil is still a bit wet i think.

the pots feel heavy and i put my finger wright in and it was damp.

i think it might take an other two days before i feed them because of the soil been

damp.

is there anyway of feeding them without watering the soil because its still wet

i didnt check the ph of the tap water as i thought i would be ok as i can drink the tap water where im from.

i was told when i was going to flush just use plain tap water the plants are in soil. could this be a problem if the ph was high or low

what feed would you use to foliar feed

What would a root-bound plant look like? Just curious. From your 2nd set of pics, that looks like a big plant in a small pot to me, but I'm certainly not the expert.

are you letting your tap water air for 24 hours before use? i know what you are saying about being rootbound this is a N defficiency i suspect although good observation about the post and it woulden't do any harm to use 10lt minimum next time.

the pots are 11L i think off of the top of my head they are 30cm across. the plants are maybe 1M tall max. i took the photo from above maybe thats why the pots look small. i put the plants in those pots at the start of the flowering stage 1month ago.

the soil has dried and i will be starting the feeding again with

house and garden nutrients,

one part soil

bud xl

pk13-14

i will start with a light dose, correct me if im wrong

thank for the help everyone

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
