gr33ndude Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 hello. i am going to do a grow with 2 600W lights in a small living room in my apartment, and i dont really know what strain to grow. all the GH seeds look amazing, but i want some characteristics from them, like omogenous grow, high yield, tough to hermie, suitable for a new grower. also im curious about the white fammily, are these hybrids, or do they give a sativa high as-well ? i'm looking for a sativa like high, and also a little stone feeling. in terms of growing indoors, can u recomend me a suitable white strain from GHS and also a kind of high yield/short flowering sativa or sativa hybrid.Also how well will this strains grow toghether, in terms of same hight and bushiness. any ideas and suggestions are more than welcome. Eternal Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 The church is a great strain, mostly indica growth wise and pretty homogenous, 3 known phenos all quite similar. The yield is also high. The effect is a mix between an initially strong head effect which slowly eases and switches to a mild body effect. Very stinky.The cheese is also great, but I have since discovered Blue Cheese from Barney's Farm and find it preferable in almost every way, not that Gh cheese isnt good or anything. The blue cheese is mostly Indica, high yields, great mix of head and body stone, and the taste/smell is simply amazing, earthy berry lasts after exhale. Pretty homogenous, 2 phenos that i personally know of - one is Skunk#1 dom, the other is Blueberry dom, both phenos are very similar. barney's Vanilla Kush is also recommendable, with similar properties as the Blue Cheese.The great white shark is great, I don't know how homogenous but from what I hear it is a consistant plant. The one I grew was about 70/30 leaning to indica, high yield, relaxing body stone.I wasn't very impressed with the rhino, grew it 2x indoor and once outdoor and two of these were lower yielding and lower potency, one was acceptable but nothing I would keep.I hear the white widow is a great strain, I've never grown it but from what I have heard it would offer you the sativa qualities you are interested in.Lemon skunk is great for the taste and it produces crazy resin however the terpine profile just doesnt seem to effect me enough. Sativa growth but my pheno was short.Trainwreck is a great strain, mostly sativa in growth, strong head and body buzz. Yields are slightly below average, and the growth isn't very homogenous. There is a grapey pheno and strawberry pheno that I was lucky enough to find, but was stupid and did not take a cut. I've since given up on this strain for now for this reason.Sorry for the long post, bored at work 4 hours to fill! Take a look at Barneys Farm, DNA Genetics and Reserva Privada as well, I like growing from a variety of breeders and find those ones to be top notch.Good Luck! gr33ndude Posted March 5, 2011 Author Share Posted March 5, 2011 tx for posting bro, but u have to keep in mind that every person has a different taste in weed, so a herb that u didn't like can be no.1 for another smoker. to be honest i chose VK and blue cheese because they are easy to grow, and very uniform, as i am a new grower, and need a easy to grow strain. What do u think about Church or Moby Dick ? im interested in height, uniformity and also a nice high with a little stoned effect. i understand that church and mobydick give a sativa high that goes along woth the stoned effect. gr33ndude Posted March 5, 2011 Author Share Posted March 5, 2011 sure thing bro, i will post a full grow journal when i start growing, and also from experience i tell you that most weed smokers like a mild effect, not enjoyng the brutal ones, but its all about personal preference. i personally enjoy all tipes of weed, regardless of potence and taste, and i like them because their unique in their way. sorry for the bad english or lack of sense, but im half baked right now, hehe . peace bro .
