Hi my friend,

this does look like a magnesium deficency; though then it could also be an iron deficency;

but i think it is potassium.

Did this start on the lower leaves?

if so, it is probably a potassium deficency;

where on the plant did it start?

are the growing shoots a pale green to yellow - if so it is iron.

if not, and it started on the lower leaves, then

foliar spray with about half strength full nutrient high in potassium and micro elements(seaweed would be ideal).

some leaves will not recover, but the new growth should be green and healthy and some of the less damaged leaves should return to a healthy green color.

You will see a difference in a few days to a week;

if not within a week, then repeat.

It is not magnesium because the viens of the leaf are not still greenish, and the tips of the leaf have browned and died(not curled under) as well as the necrotic tissue on the margin of the leaf.

happy growing

and all the best, Romeu

john

hello my papa;

It does look like a magnesium deficiency;

Use a flior spray of magnesium sulphate (one quarter teaspoon per liter or double that dose for normal feeding0.

make sure to give good coverage to the undersides of the leaves and drench her;she should start to recover in around 4 to 5 days

all the best

john

Thank you, to all!

Leaves are from the White Lemons.

It started on the lower leaves and the groowing shoots are normal, not pale green. So, potassium, ok.

Will do as prescribed by you, John.

Thank you!

Take care

you are welcome romeu

But Knuckle is right - we have to find out why it is occurring..

I had a similar problem and after a lot of trouble I found out it was because I was using incompatible nutrients, even though they were all nutrients from Nutrifield.

becareful with rooting nutrients and others that contain enymes, as they often contain various hormones as well.

The nutrifield labeling is not good on this point but their NF zyme should not be used with their seaweed product or their Ocean Mist which is a fish emulsion as these nutrients naturally contain high levels of enzymes and hormones.

just check your nutrients to make sure the same thing is not happening to you, my friend.

take care mate,

john

Thank you again, my friends!

John, I have been mixing plagron roots along with rhizotonic. I stoped mixing the both and they seem ok now.

E.c. is 0.7. Will give them two more weeks and then start to bring down the lights. :)

Thank you,

Take care

Hey 420girl!

You can see it here, http://www.strainhunters.com/portal/content/romeu9-white-lemon-1-2-16012011?page=2#comment-16940

The deficiencie stoped and all is good now, i didnt cut a couple of leaves that still shows sigs of the def because they are about just 10% damaged, and are still living and working for the plant.

Thanks for watching,

take care ;)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
