Twins?

7 posts in this topic

When I ordered a few packs of greenhouse seeds from the best damn seed supplier in the world, http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/ in December, I got a female Super Skunk and a female Midnight Kush. This is a Super Skunk, I had one seed. I did a day in water then peat as I do ofter (See my Super Lemon Haze post). Within 2 days she broke out, but I saw something around her root. The next day I looked closer and there was a twin sister in with her.

This is what they look like 6+7 days out respectively:

They are turned a little differently, but are the same type of plant. Anyone ever see that? Are the Juffy Peat people putting seeds in their pellets these days? ;)

Twins gone wild!

These two twins are 19 days old. Just 19 days!

I thought it would be a month or two before I could harvest any good clones, but I'm thinking it may be another week. The top one has practically grown a second plant out of it's side.

Has anyone ever seen a skunk grow like this?

Wow them were some lil bushy ones eh? How did they turn out? What LED light are you using and how has is been working out for you? We've been trying out the Proycon 100, which the ladies have been loving. Only thing is that it does not seem to get the deepest penetration. Looking at your snaps, however, the light seems to do well in a smaller, fully enclosed & reflective-lined space.

They are 120 watt Illumination Station lights. I bought them lightly used on craigslist for $150 a piece. They are ice cold, and work wonderful in the 3'x'3x3' area they are in.

I took one skunk and put her in 12/12, and she is getting hairy, the other one is now a few feet tall under T5s as a mother. Weird thing, her clones never wilt, and grow roots in a week. Amazing plant, I can't wait for buds in about another 7 weeks.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
