Trainwreck

3 posts in this topic

I expected this to be the first one down of the 3 seeds I popped from a mix pack, and boy I was not wrong. From the beginning this took of, I fimmed at 3 weeks(above 5th node) and vegged for one more giving me 14 nice heads

Final pot up was into a 11 ltr (Westlands MP+)and after another week started feeds of biobizz fishmix/g+b, the plant doubled easily in flowering so be warned there is a little bit of stretch but after 2-3 week it calms down and starts budding nicely.

Its a feeder, showing no signs of over feeding at any point no matter what I gave her (drank 3.5 ltr each watering, watered every 3-4 days, peak nutrient supply at 6/7 weeks 2mg grow and 4 mg bloom per litre), a small touch of mag def at 3 weeks into flower which was sorted with a one off misting with epsoms .After 9 weeks she was ready but took her 10 (25%amber 75%cloudy),there also seems to be some purple pheno in here with a nice redening to some of bud leaf late in flower...anyway in essence an very easy plant to grow, from what I see would be very forgiving on the new grower, responds well to topping/fimming though she does need support/yo-yo's for the final weeks flowering!

Final product is some nice weed, very earthy, musky with undertones of catpiss or ammonia, good leaf/bud ratio and a lovely smoke, great first thing in the morning :). Final weight is 2.2oz (after 8 days drying)

If you cure it after drying you will get rid of the cat piss smell and it will smell like citrus. Cured trainwreck smells really good!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
