Here, Starts my journey of AutoFlowering Strains

Down the shop, we had just few options, after research on flavour and potency

I came back with 9 seeds of Dinafem - RoadRunner #2 and 3 seeds of High breed Lowrider #2 Regular ;)

Soaking 6 RR#2 gonna let them sprout, haven't made my mind yet if putting them indoor under 250W HPS

in soil or in DWC system..or on my balcony in soil...the thing I don't like about balcony is that they get few

hours of direct sun..but I don't wanna hassle about power fail just want to let them grow 'careless'.

I should flip a coin, when it's in the air I will know what I really want :)

I won't be posting much pics for the moment, but I'll keep the journal so I can keep track of what and when I've done stuff

Peace friends

thanks tokage,

Romeu about 4 ..I worrie about the potency and resin production but they should grow fine..

I have basil and begonia in the same spot..they just grow fine

The spot is really safe, being away for a lot of hours you never know what is going to happen to the ballast and light in

general...having plants like you have it's way more relaxing isn't it?

Hey Indi ;)

Cannabis plants, wen in the wild, they need a minimum of 3-4 hours of direct sunlight to be sucessfull, so you are in that limit, maybe the yeld will be smaller, I dont know, maybe its a good thing you are doing this so we can learn from that. Thanks, hope you are sucessful.

About this you asked: "having plants like you have it's way more relaxing isn't it?" What do you mean? So i can aswer properly...

Take care

Must refrase that,

from my personal experience having a plant or more plants in a guerrilla grow or even around your house

you feel way more confident and calm then having 800W HPS running for 18 hours a day

A plant cannot do damage, an electronic ballast can fail, power can fail...bulb could blast..there are casualties

you don't wanna play with when playing on this thin line...I would be more confident with a DWC system with no need of power for that and maybe LED lights but having the thought of the danger when your away from home just wrecks your mind up..

Anyway I will put them on the balcony, and when I can I'll move the pots around to get more direct sunlight :)

I see now.

I move my plants across the terrace, everyday and several times a day so they are always under direct sunlight... ;) In summer I manage to have a total 9 hours of direct sunlight on them :)

Once the daylight is over I move them to the kitchen where I have a CFL 160w as the kitchen main light, just for rising the photoperiod to the 18h.. (talking about vegging plants).

I had a CFL that burned a few months back, that same that was as a mainlight in the kitchen, it was a China made one, double spectrum 125w ; I changed it to a 160w blue spectrum this time but from China again, the envirolite had gone out of stock :s

this one is the one that burned, just to show you how I have it....

Take care and good luck my friend

Hey indi ;)

You can aclimatize the seedlings by putting them in the sun at early hours in the morning and later in the day, until they harden up to the wonderful light from above ;)

Anyway they are great, good luck my friend!

Take care

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
