N-P-K ratio's?

4 posts in this topic

I'm switching all my nutrients from GH to Advanced. I"ve ordered mostly 23L jugs and there new 3 part pH perfect...which I assume is similar to GH's 3 part Flora series that I was using. I've started paying attention to the N-P-K ratio's on GrowHD that Franco and Arjan give, but they only disclose on a few of the weeks in the beginning? I figured I would grow the SLH the same as the Kalashnikova... since theres no video,lol... I also have Kalashnikova seedlings waiting to be mom's so it works out good. Like from weeks 5 -9 on the Kalash video, can anyone fill me in on what their N-P-K ratio's would be for those specific weeks?

I do not know if you know about this video below;

it does not have NPK ratios though.

npk ratios is something I do make a big fuss over, as in the end the plant decides what elements it will take up or leave behind - and all we can do as a grower is make sure that these minerals are there in adequate qualities.

take care,

john

watch all there grow videos im sure it shows all the way threw on the newer videos they have done.

I for sure would like to see alot more feed guides put up..

Im considering advance but from what I understandand you need all there base nutes not just 1 here and there.

There boosters can be used here and there but you will need there hole range of base nute which in my opinion is a big con.

Im in 2 minds I might try the smaller packs on 1 plant for test but doubt il be buying loads or using them again after unless there super good which I doubt.

From what I hear and see there overdrive booster is brilliant so I may start using that instead of pk13/14 or vita link buddy but then I seen big mike on you tube saying a house and garden product was better, think it was H=G Bud xl which ive heard people say is good but nearly £20 for 500ml is a joke and would just about cover 1 plant,it would have to be pretty damn amazing and tripple my yields by its self for me to pay them crazy prices which I believe it cant...

Ive heard good things about dyno grow and I might just try it as its priced right and has every thing you need in there base nutes...

I think all these nutes prices and claims are getting out of control,I do perfectly well with just vita link max veg = bloom with vita link buddy or pk 13/14 the last 3 week but I think il be getting rid of pk13/14 as its not really doing much..

Good uck and welcome to the techy world just have your witts about you buying as there could be a cheaper product with the exact same goodness

Everybody would use Advanced Nutrients if it wasnt so expensive. Unless your an organic guy or just don't give a fuck. They have the best line and market the shit out it. I don't care about that really. I have used all major brands and some minor's. They all work. Some work better, some are easier, some are shit. My buddy had the Piranha and Tarantula tested at his university and they checked out. Anyone who has used there products gets excellent results. Basically the only complaint is price. I get it for cost, if you were paying full retail and buying 1 L jugs then for sure its expensive. As for House and Garden and big mike.... He admitted H&G had a better root accelerator and to use there's in the meantime until there new stuff gets out on the market. I mean thats solid.... admitting yours needs to be better... and I use H&G root accelerator and shooting powder. They actually offered me there full line for free and I will try it out it out on my next solo project. It's supposed to be excellent. Super concentrated and a little cheaper than advanced, lol.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
