Sleeping problems and depression ......

15 posts in this topic

Hy guys. I have a question for any person that whant ask me.

I open a discourse already 'discussed earliervI open a discourse already 'discussed earlier.

Since I had a serious motorcycle accident in 1997 at the age 'of 21 years, I had to take several drugs for a long time for the pain. The consequence of this, 'was abuse.

For many years I continued to take them until they are able to eliminate them, with much difficulty '.

But These drugs have left many problems, especially insomnia and depression.

Even today when I have sleeping problems using any drugs but my doctor has always advised against this.

It is one year that I am passionate about growing, and then trying the fruits I can sleep well at night and when i ma depressed and anxious, smoking grass helps me relax and calm the nerves.

Said that, what is the strain shows more' suitable for sleeping problems and depression?

I tried the White Rino, and cheese and I must say that is good.

If someone tells me some other strain, i'm grateful

Reading the catalog of the GHS is fine, but it is 'better advice from someone after smoking!

Thanks, Simon.

Hey Simon!

Read about your accident from 1997 and I understand you 100%. I myself have been involved in an accident in 2002 and had a chronic injury in my left leg, which means I have pain every day when I walk. I was also in the beginning get number of tablets by a doctor and after a while I also have problems sleeping if I did not take my Medecin. So I move to Peru in 2004 and the climate and the daily consumption of cannabis made ??me feel better. I still have pain but Cannabis helps me so much. For me, all the cannabis helped but of course there are strains that work better than others, as Franco said, try to harvest at different stages so you get different levels of THC, CBN and CBD in your bud. And I think that all people are affected differently when they smoke cannabis. You need to experiment and find your Strain. Try Kalashnikov works well for me!

Peace

Jimmy

Hy Jimmy. Thank'u for the answer, this is an topic that I think is very similar to us.

I also have exposed fractures of the bones, tibia and left fibula, radius and ulna left, right kneecap, export, spleen, ribs and head trauma.

I brought a circle in the leg, called "LIZAROV" for six months, and I had to do two bone grafts, taken from the pelvis.

Now the bikes scare me! :-)

However, after 3 long years I have taken, I do not know how!

I met so many guys, who did not have my luck that they gave me the strength to go forward.

I think you can understand me, stay in bed still months to 20 years is something terrible ...

Now i am 35 years old, and i am happy to be here to call of the past!!

I'm happy you understand me and any advice will be 'always well accepted!

We'll talk again when you want, and are happy for your recovery.

When finish whit this strain i will try your strain!

See you nexx time, bye bye, Simo.

I can onlylet you know what works for me, I also medicate for depression and insomnia.

I found what works best for depression in my case has been sour diesel, and if you get a frosty bag its great for pain relief also.

insomnia, is a tough one, true Og and purple kush seam to always work, its also the only time i do'nt mind the heavy throat feeling.

and for both? i'd suggest Jack Herrer, its a stony sativa dominate in my eyes shouldn't couch lock you, but might zone you out of you over medicate.

one otherthing i've found for insomnia, is bake something at a mild-high dose and go for a walk after you eat it(20-30) this will get what ever is left from

yourday in your stomach moving thru the system, once the edible hits your system and its in a large enough doesage, or in a smaller dose combined

with a night cap smoke should easy alott of insomina issues.

Yes guys........!!!

My Doctors have give me so much medicinal for sleep for at least 5 / 6 hours a night but I have not solved anything.

Although during the day and had to work from 7 am to 7 pm, come home tiredbut I could not fall asleep the same!
I provatro drugs from more 'light as (Tavor, benzodiazepines, Rivotril XANAXETC. Etc. until you get to those most' powerful that when I got up out of bed in the morning I needed to begin to recover for 2 hours!
Now, smoke during the day only if I have nothing to do and are comfortable, but then at night before going to bed, little fumoun 'home of grass and slept well until morning.
In recent months, for example, I'm smoking (Church, Exodus snd C.).
In a little 'we shall see, little by little I will try the' all ....
I just want to try some of the series out of curiosity KUSH '!
The White Rino was great, and I consider that it 'was also my first plant grownin a tent!

As a very general rule, I find that indica dominant strains do the trick for me.

I have tried Blueberry (a mostly indica hybrid) and it was awesome....although I may be biased because I love blueberries (the other kind! lol).

Best Wishes,

Alex

Thank you kidd420 for the info, and for sharing your thoughts.

I also suffer from severe anxiety, panic attacks and depression, and it really sucks, as I am sure you know.

I am in the process of getting hooked up with a local "Compassion Club" ...as we call the most popular medicinal sources in Canada...and they specialise in serving members up with exactly the right medicinal strain for their medical needs.

I will be sure to request Strawberry Cough if they have it. I really appreciate nice tasting (and smelling) strains too so thats a plus!!

Best Wishes,

Alex

Smoking weed wont help your depression... At least with me it seems to make depression worse.

Sleep, however, is easy... I have it from good source (Tokage) that Blueberry is good, but I always use Sweet Dreams and City Lights.

For depression I recommand growing a plant. Being busy with life, makes you happy.

I find that the a strong indica like Afghani Kush or Purple Kush is great for sleeping and pain. My insomnia and chronic pain are usually pretty much gone and taken care of each night with a good session of Kush.

Depression you will need a sativa or at least a sativa hybrid. Try a pineapple haze or kali mist, jack herer is good as well. Most of these strains are good for depression. Just try to keep some haze in the cross you select. Good luck!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
