hi guys, just want to hear some opinions on some things, so here i go :

1. how often should i water plants put in a small clearing in a forest , and also how often should i feed ?

2. if my nutrient solution's npk is 4.5-4.5-8, is this suitable for flowering, and also is the npk enough ?

3. if i put double concentration of fert in the water would i get 9-9-16 npk ? or i just stick to manufacturers reccomended dose ?

4. what other additives that i can make at home should i give my flowering plants ?

5. any good method to dry the weed outside ?

6. any advice or suggestion is more than welcome

the plants are in flower about 20 days in, and i can see little buds forming, the strains are church and himalaya gold. peace and thank you for the replyes.

If you're in to the whole diy and organic thing you could try making compost tea.

Compost tea is made and used at Kew Gardens and these people know about a thing or two about plants.

Try this link

http://www.dep.state.pa.us/dep/deputate/airwaste/wm/recycle/tea/tea1.htm

Try googling "compost tea".

You could also make or buy a Wormery.

A wormery uses what are refered to a "compost worms", they're a type of worm that loves eating decomosing vegetable matter.

Red worms and Tiger worms, are examples of compost worms used.

The worms eat clippings from you garden and kitchen peelings and at the bottom of your wormery is a tap, which you can drain the liquid goodnes.

This liquid is often called "worm juice" or "liquid gold" , this is then diluted with water and used feed to the plants.

The growing and breeding of worms is called "vermiculture".

The first link is how to make a wormery, the second link is how to keep your worms happy, how to use the worm compost (worm castings) and how to use the worm juice.

Try googling "Vermiculture"

Another beneficial tea is made with comfry, if you grow comfry use boking 14 as it wont keep popping where you dont want it.

To make it just follow tokage's instruction for nettle tea.

Good luck with your woodland growteeth_smile.gif
