Day 57:

Hi Guys & Girls,

Here's the latest update and pics, I took each of them out of tent and took 2/3 pics of each plant, checked under microscrope and some more amber trichomes but still not quite enough yet, leaves are looking very dry and the fan leaves are all yellowing.

I may crop them tomorrow, haven't decided yet, might just doa few and leave three another week to see what the difference is like in smoke.

Day 61:

Hi Guys & Girls, hope you enjoyed your weekend.

I decided to chop the three shorter plants on Friday, which have been hanging upside down in the back of a wardrobe temps around 20c with humidity around 60%, these are the pics I took this morning after three days of drying.

Bud porn, can't wait to smoke them am leaving the taller three for another week to see if there's any difference in the smoke.

Lovely buds there Taoar, thanx for sharing with us, smoking some auto big bang now and its got a good effect, im sure yours will be tastey too.

So do you think growing autos indoors is worth it ? How do the yields and quality compare with a quick normal strain, it will be interesting to see the results from the same grow room with a regular strain. Anyroads happy smoking

Hey Maffro, it's not a bad what I'd call a daytime smoke doesn't knock you out but there's enough to float about your daily business without forgeting things or getting paranoid, lol.

I've just been and bought some Royal Haze Autos from Royal Queen 10-12 weeks from seed so they will be going in with my 3 x Ice Dream and 3 x Big Bang Autos, I have just enough room for 9 plants in Air Pots.

Can't really answer whether Autos are better than fast flowering regular strain, haven't managed to get one to harvest yet, I had problems with heat in past but sorted now and the autos are fist thing I've grown since.

I am considering going back to regular strains after this grow but will veg them first in loft instead of in tent, don't need tent for vegging as they only grow to 30cms before flowering and that doesn't require loads of light 9 plants in 2' x 2' space only need about 200w, which I can get from 2 x 21 watt CFLs in a card board box, that's my plan now anyway it might change.

Am also considering whether to just grow my three leaf mother clone to the max and FIM her then put to flower, she would fill my space and probably produce a lot more than I'm curently getting.

I reckon I got about 15-20gms per plant on the Big Bang Autos

Day 70:

The girls are still going and very few amber trichomes yet, I gave them a last blast of nutes to 1.8 EC with some Bloombastic on Sunday and have just given them a flush as lotsof leaves are showing signs of burning.

Going to harvest them Friday given them three full days to flush out whatever nutes are left.

Day 72:

Hey Guys & Girls,

Almost the last post on this journal as I've just harvested the last three, they reacted a bit to the high nute feed I gave them and the leaves were burning so thought I'd better cut them down, rock hard buds on them but under microscope still very few amber trichomes, most are cloudy with some still crystal clear.

It'll be an interesting smoke to see difference by leaving them the extra two weeks.

Dust: I only let them flsuh for two days, would be better another day but needed Air Pots for Royal Auto Hazes.

Tokage: The plan is to have some left for Xmas but who knows depends on how desperate I get, lol

PS: I've had to three leaf mother clone back in loft in cardboard box, no room in tent now with nine Air Pots and 8 CO2 bottles, lol.

She's got two 15 watt LED panels one either side as box ain't really tall enough to have light above, will be getting a warddrobe box, which will be perfect and allow her to grow out a bit and up a little, I intend fimming to the max and flowering after I've taken some cuttings.

Final Comments:

Well after 5 days of drying upside down in the back of a corner wardrobe at around 19-20c humidity around 60% they finally yielded 11gms, 12gms and 15gms, which is not particularly good but hey my tiny set up isn't the best environment for any plants really but any smoke I don't have to pay for is good smoke in my book.

Quite a nice hit off the smoke itself, top of the head for me, haven't noticed the sleepy effects mentioned so for me is an OK daytime smoke but I'm THC soaked to the bones.

man after looking at the earlyer pictures from this grow i can really see the autobig bang when i look at my autobombs the leaf formation is almost identical great job unfortunaly i cant see any of the pics from later on in the grow for some reason.
