Hawaiian snow its time to go

12 posts in this topic

ok,,

I'm using 11 litre hydro pots with Biobizz all mix,,

I'll carry on with my usual semi organic feed regime cuz thats working for me at the moment,,

I will back off the ec values slightly to my normal indica regime,,,

My question is,,,,,,,

How tall should I let these things get before 12/12 to keep them under say 6 feet tall ?

most sativa dominant strains from hawaii are grown from the very best Thai seeds, so keep it short (less than 8 inches) or shorter before flowering or you could end up with a very large and beautiful woman larger than 6 feet! hope that helps

All input is good man,,

I can do 6 feet and beautiful,, but no more,,

And it would be nice to acheive that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I've grown G13 a couple of times n I'm kinda expecting the Hawaian to act like that,,

But the more feedback I can get about her the more justice I can do,,

stay stoked

here is the address, t may help. You can nip and train them, s that they spread out rather than grow vertically.

Are you growing Indica or Sativa? Sativa's generally get a bit of height about them but i believe Arjan may have a sativa strain that he has managed to keep quite stubby

Generally i would say a 10 litre pot was minimum requirement for all strains - dont want those roots to become rootbound so if the start showing around bottom of pot perhaps think of a stack system that i am fond of - simply get another pot fill with your medium cut current plant at bottom and neatly stack into new pot - this can also reduce stress that may be caused my a full repot

i would keep them on bud lites until the expected bud time is reached and you see good crystal production........as for the height if the get too tall tie them over to finish them out...........next time dont veg them to long at all

Well the snow is off and running,

I'll give them a week to settle in,

A week under the cfls,,

Then I may run them for a week under the 600 wt grolux,,

Depending on how they look,,

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
