now that its been 4 + days i took it down from hanging and weighted it out the out the buds on a rack to finnish drying but thebuds are already really dry the weigh in wasa gram short of 30 grams so 29 grams off the one plant i have yet to harvest the auto blueberry out of the 29 grams about 8 grams was alittle fluffy and 21 grams of nice dense nuggets

i didnt germinate the seed i just planted it in the soil on november 17th the seed took 3 days to sprout and i harvested the plant on january 23rd in the morning so todays accually the 5th day its been hanging to dry so all together it was 67 days from the day i planted the seedanother thing i should mention is i didnt get the 150w hps until december 17th so for the first month i had the plany under cfl only but this new green o matic im doing that ill take pictures of soon has been under hps its hole life and its looking really good right now its about 24 inchs tall and is super bushy but its only been going for a month so there isent any flowers yet just preflowers

i just figured they'd be easyer for a starter plant plus im lacking space but i resonantly helped a buddy harvest some plants and he showed me an interesting way to dwarf normal cannabis plants and he had a pretty nice crop of like 10 or so different plants they were all the same size single cola plants and he got a pretty decent yeild so i figure im gonna give that a shot cause im running 2 150w sun systems hps lights and on the box it says they are good for an area of 2x2 feet so i figured 2 side by side would do an area about 2 feet tall and 4 feet wide so on my next grow to get better results from my plants im gonna try to keep my plants under 2 feet tall. i tryed to do that this grow but the auto blueberry grows alot taller then i expected. which is fine now cause im using floresents to fill out the lower buds but it was causing problems througout my entire grow i meen that plant was more then double the size of the green o matic so i had to raise the green o matic in doing that half the blueberry plant was in shade i just know i would have got alot better results if i grew two plants that stay ruffly the same height and i know theres ways to get the plant to be however small you want it to be but like i just started this so i dont know much about like supercropping or light stress training when i grew outdoors i used to do some of that stuff like we would wait till the plants got about 5 feet tall then we'd grab the plant and pull it flat to the ground then tie it down and wed plant each plant about 5 feet a part so they would grow like strawberry bushes in rows but thats about my exstent of training pot plants it you ever grow out side tho i would suggest doing that its a really good way to keep you plants out of site and it sort of tricks the plant into thinking each side branch is the top of the plant so every internode thats facing upwards develops a massive cola there is a name for the technique i cant remeber what it is tho. but i havent decided great white shark is one of my favourite strains and i really wanna give that a shot i got a pack of 5 of them but well see i got alot of genetics to choose from for my next grow i might even end up doing a sharksbreath thats great white shark crossed with Jamaican lambsbread its from dna i think my friend said hed get me a clone but thats a huge plant and it flowers for a long time minimum of 9 weeks so i dont no if my lights would handle it maybe if i didnt one plant and used both 150 watt hps's and the florescent s i might wait that one out for the summer i got some land offered to me for the summer to grow a few plants on im made stoked about that i havent had an oppertunity to grow outdoors where i can stay with the plant the hole time and tend to it every day but im gonna prepare for that ive been scearching all the different seed banks trying to decide which genetics to use ive only got a few months before i have to get them started so well see i might just kept my closet for autos and just scearch for the best auto strains i can find ill update pics of the new green o matic plant thats about 4 and half week old probably tommorow i got a shit load of new pics i just get lazy but yesterday i uploaded a bunch of pics to photobucket so when i have alittle time and lay a bunch more down shots of the dried bud and shots of my set up now

Indeed Auto's are a fine wa to grow quick pretty good weed, with results that are not ridiculous

Nice grow GOM, it says on the DP site that the auto blue needs a bit of a lower temp at the end of its cycle to turn purple, Im smoking some autoBlueberry right now and i harvested it last JUly !- still works LOL

i guess i shoul finnish this off with my final thoughts on the two plants as this was a test the green o matic was a very enjoyable plant to grow the buds formed nicely and it was very hardy when i first started using fertilzer i didnt know how to do it and was using it every time i watered fora couple weeks the plant took it without ever looking like it was about to get nute burn or anything the auto blueberry however in the early stages of growth was really touchy even a millimeter more and there was damage on the plant the green o matic yeilded what it said it would from the green house website the auto blueberry did not GOM was eaxsatly as described the high the groth pattern harvest time ect.. the autoblueberry altho also very nice was worlds away from its description. the high from both was very enjoyable but the formation on the green o matics buds was nicer dense and big nuggest the auto blueberry had thin long sativa like buds. all together i yeilded just over 61 grams off the two auto plants together 32 grams off the auto bluerry with 20 gram of that being big long nuggets and 12 grams of smaller popcorn nuggest the green o matic yeil 29 grams 21 grams of rock solid frosty nuggest and 8 grams of smaller buds almost no shake whatsoever. one thing i'd like to note about the green o matic is that i started growing another pplant half way through this grow so i have one green o matic plant left going i will update pictures soon the plant was neglected in the earlyer stages of growth and i accidentally burned the very top of the main cola i thought the plant was a goner but i added an extra 150 w light so know im running two 150 W sun system hps lights and 160 additional watts of florescent's on one plant and with some time the plant has now fully recovered but this plant has a different look then the first one i think its a different pheno or something because the first green o matic was short and bushy this one is one is more a of a middle sized plant its a little strechy and the resin smells alot stronger already it has about three weeks left so i can say for sure the green o matic is a very hardy plant it recovered like nothing happened to it when it got burn't and now you cant even tell but i did something stupid call it a rookie mistake the top of the plant was pretty badly burned the very top of the main cola was crispy but the rest of the bud was untouched but the top two fan leafs were crispy so i cut off all the crispy stuff a few days later because i notice the crispy stuff was blocking light to the rest of the bud and the rest of the bud started looking unhealthy like it was dying so i cut the crispy bud away with one small quick cut and then cut of the two leafs and the plant was fully back up by the next morning now its a nice healthy green it may have been a mistake cutting into a flowering plant like that but after it all said and done i think i did the right thing because the plant looks healthier then ever.

o also i just got my genetics together im doing a train wreck / great white shark / martian mean green / tnt kush grow starting as soon as i cut this last green o matic down so im gonna do the four plants under 300 watts of hps im gona do like a mini sea of green using LST techniques to keep the plants all at ruffly the same height my last grow was a base line to see what kinda results i could get on a budget this next grow is gonna be me going all out so stay tuned for that so im gonna be starting that grow very soon!!

i am germinating green o matic, wich pot size do you use?

the pot didnt have the size written on it buts its a 14 inch diameter bell pot. i would use ether a 1 or 2 gallon bucket tho if i where you if you dont have that on hand the smallesr bucket i would use would be a 2 L . under the 150 W hps lamp i was averaging 30 grams of dried bud a plant. here is a picture of another green o matic i just did that was neglected and got burned but still pulled through yeilding an ounce of dried bud.
