Hi guys today is DAY 70

The T° is 24° for a 50%HR

post-4970-0-65072600-1335365068.png

This is the last day for the AB #1 after 70 days from seed, and 48h of dark, i will cut here in a few minute, i will then do pictures and show them to you tomorrow or later ;)

She has been a pretty good girl, not a very interesting pheno in my setup, but for real SOG with lots of tight plants, she would be perfect!

Tho my other AB phenos don't look like that so i'll see what the rest gives.

The younger one with the strange leaves is doing very good too, shehas a pretty nice growth, if she hadn't thos leaves she would be perfect ;)

The even younger is good too, very nice shape so far, and a very vigorous growth, she's letting her MM sister far behind lol.

And yesterday popped an even even younger one that is now on DAY 2 :)

So as you see room is filled again until next cycle :)

Here are some little pics of the girls ;)

First the little new born 3 days ago right before i placed her into root Riot cube

Now the Big girl cutted it was 3 days ago, before i put her into the darkroom for 48H. She has a very nice fruity smell i hope the taste will be too :)

Thanks for this update, looking good so far..my AB has been transplanted AGAIN in a bigger pot and started to flower 3 days ago..hopefully she will catch up groth and reach normal height instead of that Bonsai type growth.

That is the crux with the ruderalis, they only have so many days of summer/autum to finish a cycle of growth, that they often stay dwarves. Lw Ryder is a typical strain used for autos. in case that pheno is dominant the plants stay lilliputs and yield only a couple grams.

Maybe that's why they took the AB out of the catalogue for a while to fix that problem...?? Just a thought.

In one book I've seen a picture of a Lowrydder that was a dwarf. Even though the flowers looked quite decent the final yield was a disappointing 2,8 grams (the plant was with root around 40 cm's and pretty dense with leaves + flowers..)

That's why we are here man ;) To test the seeds and see if there are problems :)

About the dwarfs, the only one i've seen was a sweet dwarf, ended in 64 days from seed and yeilded 34g of veryy good buds, so if in the end the final selection of the bomb acts like that i won't complain lol ;)

THanks for passing by man :D

Hi Guys today is DAY 42 for the big girl

The T° is 25° for a 50% HR

post-4970-0-16442700-1336064963.png

The bigger girl got a shower flush followed by a light Greensensation Biogrow and Biobloom mix at ph 6,9

She seem to produce pretty "normal" leaves now that she is older, her bud production started nicely, i have some hope she wil still give me good grow ^^

The one at DAY 23 is doing great, with big wide leaves, looking a lot more indica than others and perfect leaves this times.

Unfortunatly the last bomb germinated that is at DAY 10 now, seem to have some leaves problem too, it seem one of the side leave is not growing, i'll see in the following days.

But beside those leaves problem they are growing perfectly. The younger one got her Hairs at DAY 18 pretty good score too, in the average of the GH strains so far regular or auto.

Not much too say beside they are doing good ^^ here are few pics of the girls ;)

The bigger and older one

The one at Day 23, already declared since 6 days :)

And the youngest at DAY 10 that seem to have another leaf problem, i'll keep you aware.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
