Setting Up Medical Marijuana Business Question

Hello everyone,

I am considering setting up in the Medical Marijuana business and was wondering what information you good people can give on the best countries, laws, permits, licenses etc.

I am able to go pretty much anywhere in the world but Europe is preferable, as I'm not so sure putting on an Immigration Form "Cannabis Grower" will go down to well with the Authorities of some countries.

I know there's lots of information about what's going on in California and other places but I'm not sure I'd get into the USA.

How easy it to get into Canada where they are also quite liberal.

As you said a few states devellop marijuana related buisness but i dont know if you could get a green card or a visa there to enter as a prospect dispensary manager...

Same with canada though, they're liberal and you can get a visa, but they'll give you a working visa related to your diplomas and past experience i believe and i dont know if 15 years of undergound growing is welcome on your C.V.

About europe, well i guess only Portugal and spain are legit ( holland kinda) but if you start anything there you better know people to avoid having local mob knocking at your door with a shotgun to steal your shit, plus you need to find a decent (if not legit) way to sell your stuff.

I'm with you though if you need someone,i never enjoyed anything as much as growing except martial arts,and even as a career growing weed is much better i'll keep martial art as a passion!

Good Luck in your search i hope you will achieve your goal, but i think working in cannabis is a hard path o choose if you're not from a country where it is "implanted"

Italy and Switzerland Planning Legal Medical Marijuana

IACM via BBSNews 2006-10-29 -- The Italian government has decided that in the future cannabis may be used for the treatment of pain. The parliament has still to hold a vote on this issue. The measure has "nothing to do with joints" Health Minister Livia Turco stated. The reform can only become into effect after the House of Representatives and the Senate have approved it.

Medical Marijuana

The opposition is divided on this question. While the right-wing nationalists accused the government to legalize a soft drug, Chiara Moroni of the party "Forza Italia" of opposition leader Silvio Berlusconi supported the decision of the cabinet. The lawmaker in Switzerland also made a first step to the possibility of a legal use of cannabis products for medical purposes.

The Health Committee of the parliament (Nationalrat) has decided with clear majority to suggest to the parliament to change the narcotics law accordingly, said the physician Felix Gutzwiller, president of the parliamentary party FDP and member of the Health Committee, on 24 October in the news of the Swiss television. He therefore assumes that "there will be also a majority in the Nationalrat for the legalization of cannabis as a medicine."

Lets hope Italy and Switerland go ahead and legalise medical use.

If I could open a cannabis company, I would love to do it in Switerland.

Any Country in Europe would be cool for me, it all looks like a matter of time,slowly cannabis is gaining the respect it desserves as more counties realise it is here to stay and fighting against it is becoming futile.

As i know in Germany u can get Patient licences but the Medical Cannabis comes from the Netherlands. So Far i Know they are one of the Only Medical Cannabis Producers that sell to Pharmazies.
