The I love Scrog + Fim Thread

18 posts in this topic

God I just had to make a thread for this topic. My greatest grows have always been fimmed plants in scrog setup. Anyone else growing like me here?

Blue rhino in one 5 gallon bucket. dwc. 1000watt hps. 4x4 tent. Removed a burmese kush due to it getting hermie so full 4x4 not utilized had to remove the scrog net too, but the blue rhino still got huge. About a dozen main colas thanks to the fim job. A blue rhino is white rhino and blueberry. nutrients used flora nutes by general hydroponics. additives where: flora blend and floralicous plus during veg. Added liquid kool bloom and bud candy during flower. currently she is flushing in that pic.

I also like to use scrog. LST is the best. I am currently helping a friend with a sog but I am working to convert him! Bigger buds are better. We are looking for a high yielding strain that is good for a tent with 2 600w hps using a flo-thru system. He has 3 tents that he has been using but since in my experience making medical mj in the states I convinced him to consolodate his light. I am also wondering about portable air conditioning units and how effective they are in a flo thru system. I have always had a whole basement that was sealed with AC. I am medically retired with DGD and severe PTSD. What strains do you guys recommend?

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
