ses - how to use it properly

Recommended Posts

I am often reading about growers adding molasses to their plants in bloom. I would like to know a bit more about it.

Can I use any type of molasses as long as it is pure - the stuff sold at grocery shops for example ?

How to feed it and at what ratio per litre . Cook it with GUANO Powder a god idea ?

Please help me out ...

Thanks

Ooops headline cut short, impossible to edit, excuse me..

Hey Bam! (Bom's grow companion maybe?)

I dont use molasses, but I use honey instead.

Molasses are far more processed then honey from bees, and honey have some natural properties wen diluted that makes it even better then the molasses.

Just some time ago that was discussed here in the forum, check this comment and the ones that follow to know more about my use of the honey in bloom period: http://www.strainhun...dpost__p__43791

Anyway molasses are good too, Im just not into it!

Hope it helps!

Take care

Hi, well i'm not a molasses guy neither, i know (think) there are some in the topmax i use, but that's unvolunteer lol.

But as Rom said his honey thing looked pretty good, if i were to try i'll probably try honey before buying any product ;)

Tho maybe other products also give things tht honey doesn't have, that i don't know ^^

Good luck in your search man ;)

molasses is unrefined sugar and honey is basically the same, molasses will dissolve much easier than honey

molasses are brown sugar out from a bain-marie heating process, honey is made by bees... Not realy the same. Although they are both carbohydrates sources.

Honey wen liquified releases small particules of H2O2, mollasses don't..

It's not the same!

Do whatever it suits you, but honey is far better in my opinion!

Honey is more beneficial for human consumption no question. I just fear that it does not dissolve as fine as molasses. OTH sugar cane is one of the most complete sources of energy and it is a direct product of the tropical sun. Ask any Herbal Doctor and he will tell ya to use brown sugar or molasses ..

I will try both - no problem.

Thanks peops

The honey is the first thing I ad to the water, I mix it very well before mixing the second thing I will ad to the feeding solution.

Since I only use max 1ml of honey per Liter of water that makes the dilution easier then it seems probably..

Hope you like using it!
