T.H.C. vaporizes at 356 degrees farenheit so make sure to keep the oven at 300 or less and just cook the recipe longer. Also be careful when dosing yourself with medibles or you'll end up wondering why the sky is purple and the walls are bleeding. Good Luck.

Yeah some nice recipie's would be appreciated, I often add it to simple muffin mixes or salad dishes

From what i know the active ingredients in cannabis are fat and alcohol soluble so they can be smoked eaten or drunk.

Eating or drinking marijuana tends to have a slower reaction than inhaling via smoking and for a prolonged high can also be more efficient than smoking.

As no noxious effects brought on by smoking are not felt thiss is also a favorable method of marijuana consumption by many people suffering from many ailments and condtions.

Most people make space cakes, muffins and things like that which are amazing, important thing to remember is not just to eat your marjuanna raw - you have to heat it - so if using in a salad perhaps heat it in some oil and let it cool or if making in cakes - heat your finely chopped marijuanna in butter or oil to add to your mix

Rememver also that it may have quite a pungent flavour depending on strain - so try to mix with other flavours that you are cooking

Even try cooking it with simple dishes - cookies, pizza, pasta - some recipies would be fantastic

Great post Big Jimmy

Gice me a couple of days to put together a few. Something that will help is when you make your cannabutter and you do the final pour to get the leftover cb add a few drops of vanilla! This will help sweeten your cannabutter fer use in cookie, brownies, etc.

i found these online, i haven't tried them yet but they sound good:

Meat Balls

1 lb. hamburger

1/4 cup chopped onions

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/4 cup bread crumbs

3 tablespoons Marijuana

3 tablespoons India relish

Mix it up and shape into meatballs. Brown in frying pan and drain. Place in a casserole with soup and 1/2 cup water, cover and cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. Feeds about four people.

Spaghetti Sauce

1 can tomato paste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup chopped onions

1/2 cup chopped marijuana

1 pinch pepper

1 can water (6 oz)

1/2 clove minced garlic

1 bay leaf

1 pinch thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

Mix in a large pot, cover and shimmer with frequent stirring for two hours. Serve over spaghetti.

Coco Ice Cream

Ingredients:

6 oz. swiss chocolate

2 1/4 cup custard(pre-made)

1 1/4 cup whipped cream, whipped

1/4 oz skunk or Northern lights

Method:

melt chocolate (either in microwave or in double boiler). Using a rubber spatula put chocolate in with custard and mix well. Using a rubber spatula fold pre whipped cream into the above mixture. Put all into a plastic container cover and freeze, if in freezer for a long time set out at room temperature for 2-3 mins. Serve 3 scoops on small dessert plate and top with chocolate shavings.

GreenDragon

Stove Method

Supplies for stove method. About ½ gramof weed.

Supplies: Cooking pot, mug or measuring glass, candy thermometer, fork, coffee filter paper, rubber band, and a drinking cup.

Ingredients: 1 fluid ounce citrus extract (lemon, lime, or orange) and ½ gram of weed.

Cooking with alcohol is a fire hazard, but this is a less-dangerous variation using a water bath. Never do this when you're already stoned. Always have good ventilation because concentrated alcohol vapors can explode!

The amount of pot shown here would work for most regular stoners if it's a high-grade marijuana ("chronic"). You would most likely get high enough that you wouldn't be disappointed, but not quite high enough that you would get a panic attack. No guarantees, so each person has to experiment and figure out the right amount. Somebody who has not been high in a really long time would be very sensitive, so they would need to use less pot or use cheaper stuff ("schwag"). A total pot-head would need to use more pot.

"Green dragon" is made with very-concentrated alcohol because the cannabinoid compounds (the stuff that gets you high, including THC) do not dissolve in water, but they do dissolve well in alcohol. Everclear is ideal, but this is not available in some states. For large batches, use liquor with the highest alcohol content that is available. The more alcohol, the easier it is to extract the cannabinoids. For small batches, citrus extracts are ideal because they have a high alcohol content (80-90%), and they taste good when added to a drink. Mint extract also has a high alcohol content but it's incredibly gross to drink. Rubbing alcohol or methyl alcohol will both make you go blind (it's not a myth!), so nobody uses those. Cannabinoids are also fat-soluble, but oils and fats take longer to digest, and it's kind of gross to drink vegetable oil, unless it is so concentrated that you can take a few drops under the tongue (sublinguilly).

Step 1: Microwave *dry* weed on medium 3 x 20 seconds with cooling time in between. This converts THCA (inactive) to THC (active). This process is known as "decarboxylation." Do not put any alcohol into the microwave because that would be dangerous.

A common question: how much to microwave? Over-cooking may result in THC vaporization (that's bad unless you're inhaling). As a general rule, the decarb is complete when the weed is crunchy, but the plate should not be too hot to touch.

Here are some educational links about decarboxylation:

http://cannabisculture.com/articles/3037.html

http://www.druglibrary.org/SCHAFFER/Library/studies/ledain/ldc2b.htm

[ctrl]+ [F] and search for "THCA"

Thelemon extract goes inside the glass measuring cup. Just anair bubble, no worries.

Step 2. Fill the cooking pot with a couple inches of hot tap water and place on a burner. The water helps control the heat so that the temperature doesn't change too fast. And if you accidentally bump and spill the whole thing, it can help prevent a fire. Remove any seeds. Add the weed and extract into the mug or measuring cup, then clip the candy thermometer on the inside of the container so that the bulb is touching the bottom. Place mug or measuring cup in the center of the cooking pot.

Startwith a very small flame. Theheated solution will start to turn green.

Step 3. Turn on the burner and set the heat to a low setting (light the flame first if you're using a gas stove), and watch the temperature slowly climb. Carefully adjust the flame or electricity to keep the solution between 160 ºF and 165 ºF and maintain this for 20 minutes. Ethyl alcohol boils at 173 ºF at sea level, so the candy thermometer helps to avoid an accidental boil-over. If you see the alcohol boiling a little, then back off the heat a little. This happens when the solution is heated unevenly. You can fix this problem by putting something underneath the container so that it's not directly touching the bottom of the cooking pot, but it has to allow the vapor bubbles to escape without causing vibrations. Alternatively, you can use a floating steel bowl instead of a glass measuring cup. If the temperature goes above 165 ºF, and you turn down the heat, but the temperature is still climbing and getting close to 170 ºF... then just lift the cooking pot off the burner, let it cool down to 160 ºF, and then put it back on the burner. While the solution is being heated, it's important to stir with a fork once in awhile, just in case some of the weed is not completely covered by the liquid. Some alcohol will inevitably evaporate. How much is lost depends on surface area.

A forkworks well for stirring. The tapwater is only supposed to go into the cooking pot, but a few splashesinto the glass are not a big deal.

Step 4. Cool off the solution by slowly adding tap water into the cooking pot and repeating a couple times.

In thisexample, the liquid turned a little murky because of a few splashes, noworries. Coffeefilter paper removes the weed. Some ofthe good stuff is still in the weed, so it has to be squeezed out.

Step 5. Put coffee filter paper inside and around the drinking cup, wrap rubber band around the outside to keep it in place. Pour the solution onto the filter paper and let it drip into the drinking cup. Once it's done dripping, grab the filter paper and the weed and squeeze out every last drop.

This iswhy the new lemon/lime colas are so popular! Pouring the generic cola soda. Yummy!

Step 6. Now you have "green dragon!" The high alcohol content makes it unpleasant to drink straight, so it's better to add it to something. For an exciting high, add to coffee. For a relaxing high, add to chamomile tea. With soda it tastes really good! A marijuana drink is faster than eating marijuana in food, but not quite as fast as smoking it. On an empty stomach you'll get some immediate effects, with a peak high at 60 to 90 minutes. This will slowly wear off over several hours. If you make a large batch, then you'll know how strong it is after the first time, and then you can easily decide how stoned you want to be the next time...

Microwave: No!

Don'tdo this!

NEVER USE A MICROWAVE FOR EXTRACTION! Anything metal or reflective inside the microwave will spark and light the whole thing on fire and really fuck up the microwave! If the fan is not working, then the vapors will concentrate, and an explosion might blow the door off the microwave and throw shrapnel in your face.

This recipe has been removed because it's too dangerous. It's also the least efficient method and is wasteful of expensive weed. However, it is safe to use a microwave for decarboxylation (THCA conversion to THC, a.k.a. "drying the weed"). Extraction is dangerous because it involves concentrated alcohol.

Cupboard Method

Marijuana Drink This is the easiest way to make "green dragon." First, dry the weed in a microwave on high for at least two minutes, then put it in a bottle of lemon extract, stick it in a warm cupboard, and wait two to four weeks. Some people don't have this kind of patience, and sometimes getting high is a spontaneous social thing: you're at a party or a friend's house listening to music or watching something funny and you just wanna get high. ("Hey, let's make something!" not "Hey let's wait three weeks and try this!") Or sometimes people decide that after finishing a boring week of work they just wanna go home and have a mini-vacation on a Friday night. Not everybody likes to plan their highs so far in advance. The cupboard method is, however, the safest method. Microwaving is the easiest method for decarboxylation, but it should never be used for extraction.

Solar Method

Don't worry, I didn't spend too much time on this one.

Totally fried!

The solar method is probably the best method because it's not as dangerous as cooking with alcohol, doesn't take forever, and it's very efficient so it doesn't waste good pot. In theory, it's the best method. The basic idea is to put a small black sealed container inside a clear container, then put the whole thing inside a reflective metal bowl and leave it outside on a hot sunny day. The black container would need to be light-proof and have very strong threads to hold the pressure. A baby food jar with metal threads would probably work, and it would easily fit inside a peanut butter jar. Sunlight breaks down THC, but several coats of black spray paint primer might be enough to keep everything dark inside. This method might only work in the summertime or for people who live in the desert. The big downside is that it could get stolen or blown away by the wind. Also, the whole thing could explode from vapor pressure and that would suck, so it's important to use a strong container and a lid with strong threads. In theory the pot could be dry-baked one day and extracted the next day. To use the solar method for decarboxylation, it's important to use a packet of salt to keep the humidity low.

Update: a very simple version of the solar method is to use an old container for water purifications tablets, place it inside a black glasses case (light-proof), and place that on the dashboard of a car during the summertime.

np fuzzy i will try too keep the recipes coming.

i found a butter and a milk recipe

i thought the Milk ( bhang) recipe could be added too the meatballs for increased effect.

the milk and butter recipes will help make almost any dish a treat. wink_smile.gif

Methods of Preparation and Ingestion Dosage

Starting Materials Extract Into Resulting Doses
1 ounce of leaves

or

3.5 grams bud

1 quart (4 cups) Milk

or

1/2 cup Butter

10-30 depending on desired potency

Marijuana Milk (AKA bhang) Recipie:

Milk: 4 cups (1 quart)
Leaf Matter: As many leaves as you can fit in 4 cups of milk.
Directions:

Carefully boil milk and leaves for about an hour. Potency will vary depending on the amount and quality of leaves used. Typical dose is 1/4 cup milk mixed with chocolate milk. This method seems to work better than the butter and the high comes on MUCH faster.

Depending on your experience level a good first dose of milk is 1/4 cup but it can range from 1 tablespoon to 2/3 cup.

Milk Ideas: Pudding(one of my favorites), Shakes, Pancackes, etc. Butter Recipie:
Butter: 2 sticks unsalted
Leaf Matter: 1 Pot=approx. 3 ounces (use less if using bud)
Directions:

Bring 2-3 cups water and butter to boil. Add as many leaves as you can fit in your pan and cover with the butter/water mixture. Continue boiling for about 1 hour. Mash and stir frequently to make sure all THC is extracted from the leaves into the butter. After cooking strain butter from leaf using cheese cloth. Boil a cup of water and use it to rinse out every last drop of butter from the leaves. Be sure to squeeze the leaves well to get all the butter out. Put liquid in fridge (or freezer) to cool. When the butter has solidified pour off water. Butter will keep in fridge or freezer, but keeps best in cooked food!

Butterscotch Cookies
Directions: Pre-heat oven to 350. Mix wet ingredients, then mix in dry ingredients. Bake 13-15 minutes.
Wet Ingredients:
3/4 cup melted Pot Butter (recipie above)
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp maple syrup
2 eggs
- Mix Wet Ingredients -
Dry Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
2 cups Oats
1 Package Butterscotch Morsels

Grilled Chronic King Salmon

IF A QUAINT DINNER PARTY IS IN THE PLANS AND YOU HAVE A DESIRE FOR A LITTLE GANJA on the gourmet tip, salmon makes a great choice.

With this recipe the sauce and salad can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge, and the salmon will grill quickly so you can spend more time with your guests than your oven.

Salmon is also a relatively easy thing to cook up and make look great on a plate.

INGREDIENTS:

3.5 to 7g of bud or hash (14g shake)

4 6 to 8oz. salmon filets

1 orange (peeled & quartered)

1/8 cup chopped shallots

1/8 cup white wine

1/8 cup lemon juice

Salt to taste

1/8 cup heavy cream

1/4 lbs. butter

1 red onion sliced very thin

1/2 tbsp fennel

1 orange segmented

1 pinch ground cumin

1/4 tsp olive oil

1/4 red bell pepper, julienne

1 tbsp chopped chives

Descriptions:

For this recipe I prefer to use bud (or hash) instead of shake so the "green" flavor isn't too over-powering.

Season the salmon with salt and pepper and grill until cooked through. To make the sauce, add the quartered orange, white wine, lemon juice and shallots to a heavy bottom saucepan and reduce to a syrup.

Now add the heavy cream and your bud.

Reduce the cream to half and then slowly add in your butter over low heat to maintain THC levels.

Strain the sauce and season to taste. In a bowl, mix the orange segments, fennel, cumin, oil, red pepper, chives, onions and salt together.

Use as a garnish on top of the salmon steaks.

i hope u enjoy

peace

Hey team

cheers fuzzy and everyone for all the excellent infomation,

thoes cannabutter methods are great , cool pic's too

Im on my way to making them peanut butter & hemp heart cookies coz they just look awesome,

bought a 500g bag of hemp seeds in a shop in glastonbury last weekend on my holiday,

the web address on the packet of seeds is secure.hosts.co.uk/~cannabis.uk.net/TEST/catalog/index.php for any one else who is having trouble purchasing the hemp hearts/ eadible hemp seeds in the local supermarket!

th web site looks pretty cool, lots of fun stuff...

they do 500grams for £2.50

or you can get a big bag of 3 kg for £13,

very tastey stuff as well

here's my old faithful gingersnaps method as promised:

ingrediants:

3.5 oz butter

3.5 oz light brown sugar (i usually mix dark brown soft with caster sugar just coz thats wat i got)

3.5 oz golden syrup

7.5 oz plain flour

1 tea spoon bicarbonate of soda

1 teaspoon (or more) ground ginger- i somehtimes add cinnamon if im feelin adventrous...

6 grams of high grade cannabis (de-stalked and crushed)

what to do:

-set oven to 160 C

-put some baking paper on some baking trays...

-put butter , sugar & syrup in a bowl & microwave for about 10- 20 seconds to melt butter (makes it easier to mix) then mix- if you microwave for too long the butter go's weird...

-put flour, bicarbonate & ginger in to the bowl and mix all togeather untill a smooth soft dough

-mix in 6 grams of crushed cannabis buds

-I usually roll out the mix with hands and press out with a cookie cutter then flatten slightly with fingers, but you could just take a teaspoon of mixture and roll in to a ball, then put on the prepaired baking sheet and press them,i prefer the cookies when they are thinner rather than fatter, they r nice n crunchy wen thin and a bit more cakey when fat...but trial and error is the best way forwards to get the right taste

- and finally bake in oven for 8-10 mins untill the tops have cracked& are begining to brown allow to cool on a rack

i get around 22 cookies out of a batch which works out as roughly 0.28 grams of cannabis per cookie

so my daily cannabis intake is no higher than 0.5 grams (if i eat two cookies) and that'l get me buzzed for most of the day.

if you/I eat 2 cookies at once the effects are a bit scary- more like a light mushroom trip-

i usually eat 2 cookies throught the day for a nice constant buzz

after smoking spliffs for a year or so, which hold about 0.5 grams of bud, doing these cookies really makes my stash last a lot longer, if you think you could smoke 6 or 7 spliffs a day....

hope this info recives you well

kind regards and happy farming

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
