Jules and Myrtle, aka The Dagga Couple, are busy battling it out with the courts over the issue of Cannabis legalisation. A huge part of their campaign is based upon awareness and education, that’s why they have created a short documentary all about Marijuana in South Africa.

It covers the history of Cannabis in Africa, how South Africa was the first country in the world to prohibit Cannabis and how our current “dagga laws†are based on these racist, draconian laws from the early 1900′s. ‘Dagga: The Truth!’ is a well rounded, information packed short film that all South Africans need watch and share. ok too bad, but i guess those kinds of demands must be soooo long to complete, if you even complete it one day. anyway there have guts, we would need more people like that to make things move faster ^^
