i find there are two things that a important to get big auto flower plants one is too know that auto flowering plants grow rather large and deep tap roots. because of this longer then wider pots are better you wanna start them usually in the pot you are gonna finnsh them in and never let them be aloud to get root bound if you choose to transplant.

the second is light positioning. i never allow space some people will set there lights and allow the plants to grow into them i find i get best results if i always keep the tops of my plant within a set distance from my lights(the set distance being as close as possible without burning the plant.) for instance in my last grow i ran 2 150w hps i kept all the tops at the same height using risers and adjusted the light height twice a day from ruffly week 2 too week 5/6 or until the vertical growth slowed down. this insures evenly spaced internodes with the tightest distance possible out of your setup.

a tip if you are growing autoflowers you might also be growing with less wattage then youd like a tip for getting your buds alittle closer to the lights without burning them is to put a fan directly beside the lights and turn it on to medium or higher the ensures no hot are sits around ether in the hood of your lamp or right at bud level. i also find it best to lay off on how close you keep your plants one the flowers appear once there is a substantial amound of resin on the flowers you might test the area with your hand and feel comfortable but over time the oil will cook the bud

The Scrog is going pretty well every plant will have 16 branches and just 1 of the 8 is starting to flowering maybe because she was starting to need more space so i will separate and put a light more

im thinking he ment sea of green and said scrog. cause your right i looked and couldent find a net or even the holsters for a neting or chicken wire or a peice of fence or anything.

that being said i could be wrong but when i started growing and i didnt no all the terminology that well (still don't really ). i used to always mix up the abbreviation of those terms S of G & SCROG i dont no why. i would do this even when i knew the difference between the two. or maybe the screen just isent in the photos

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
