The Culture High – Sequel to The Union

2 posts in this topic

There is one Cannabis documentary that really stands out from the rest, one that simply has a lot more of everything than all the others. For those of you that haven’t watched The Union, please do yourselves a favour and watch it now. The filmmakers of the 2007 documentary have been kind enough to abolish their DVD sales, and instead, have upload the entire film, for free to YouTube.

Since The Union’s release in 2007, it has played a significant role in educating the word to the ins-and-outs and ups-and-downs of the Cannabis world. It’s a film that people show to their parents to change their perceptions and open their eyes. I know it opened my parents’ eyes, very, very wide (until they started partaking themselves). No other documentary lays down Cannabis’ story in such a well constructed, highly informative and easy to digest way.

Anyways, enough about The Union. We’re here to talk about The Culture High; the follow up documentary to The Union. Damn, we’re excited! The documentary is being funded entirely through donations on Kickstarter, the worlds’ largest funding platform for creative projects. Watch The Culture High’s Kickstarter video below!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
