was it that bad? it is not rare to see few balls appear in beginning of flowering on lower stage, but as far as i'm concerned, they never came back later once pulled away if they are not real hermie.

Anyway you made your choice and it's the safest anyway!! :)

Still sad to see that girl cutted she was looking nice :rabbi:

Have a good grow

Thanks guys, yeah, there was a question mark over her head for a few days. Pulled off a few balls at the beginning of the week and kept an eye on her, after seeing another a few days later I wasn't taking any chances. I have 2 more flowering widows, SLH and afghan no1 that look lovely and I wasn't gonna put them in jeopardy. I've taken 3 clones from her a month ago (hopefully before she decided to grow balls). They've rooted and will be transplanted into 11ltr pots tomorrow. Will flower them in a week and see if they go the same way. It is sad, every time I went down stairs id think right-fuck it she's gettin the chop, when I went up and looked at her with scissors in hand I couldn't bring myself to do it, lol. So it definitely wasn't an easy decision. Not gonna look back anyway :)

I just meant that I wasn't sure about her for days.

I did find what looked like nanners comin out a small bud. Could only see it through a 30x magnifier. I hoped that she had been stressed during initial flowering. Think she may have been exposed to tiny amounts of light during initial flowering. Forgot to close my vent for a few nights and there was small light leaks. This WW was right beside the vent so hopefully she turn then. This what I tell myself to prevent me throwing these 3 clones away they're looking really nice. These white widow x big buds were an uneducated buy back when I did nothing but look at pictures of cool buds. Such a noob. After doing more research on the strain I find they have been known to hermie. It's femaleseeds x-line. I expected a hermie at some point just hope none of the others go later in flower. There's one beauty in amongst them. The one the hasn't been trained in any way. Only tucked back fan leaves for new shoots during veg.

My mother that I've topped started to flower in 18/6. Was gonna push her to 20/4 but haven't got the space so she's flowering now in the 12/12 room :)

Again more rambling, sorry :)

I snuck in just before lights up, sorry for the dark pics :)

Again, can't help thinking there would be more trichs if I had control of the humidity earlier. Problem solved now :)

The dehumidifier has made a huge difference to trich production in the last few days smile.png

Edit - Looking at it up on the thread the quality is shit, at least you can see the crystals. My camera is actually not bad, need a High Res onesmile.png

Thanks guys, she smells the best out of all my girls. She was a free seed too :)

I've started her flush today. May be early but she's had a fair dose of nutes over the weeks. The main bud leaves are all curled up. You cant see it in the photo but she's curling all the way down. She'll need 7+ days of plain water, un-ph'd. Everyone says pH the water but it doesn't make much sense considering pH'ing is to find a good range of uptake. Since there's no nute uptake, pH'd water is unnecessary. Will discuss this on the other thread, lol :)

LST is loads of fun. This afghani lady would have been quite minimal below the main bud until I systematically tied her down. She developed bigger stems downstairs and then I released her :) Her stem reminds me of the sculpture in Beetlejuice...lol :)

You can see the curling I'm on about now. This was on the 21st Oct, she's fattening out more and more. Will get some more pics in the coming days :)

Take it easy LST'ers, G

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
