Very few trichomes

Hello guys,

I’m growing a Blue-widow from Dinafem and she is in her 43^rd day of flowering out of 55 days.

But it’s really low in trichomes.

Does anyone have experience with this strain?

on some strains trichome production can start to "explode during the 2-3 last weeks of maturing before harvest, i haven't grown that girl specificly, but a few dinafem strains, and even if they don't have LOADS of trichome they should still make you pretty happy

I’m thinking that perhaps she needs more time 55+ to mature, maybe 65.

She is under a 250w hps, do you think that under-power light will prolong maturity?

If you have only 1 girl 250w HPS is far enough, a friend use to grow with only this and 1 girls and makes between 150-200g on each plants, so with a little training you should master them

About the days, yeah don't look too much at the calendar, look at your buds and at the development of your buds

If you have a microscope to check the trichome it's a plus, but with bare eyes you can more or less judge when a girl is ready, just don't be in a hurry
