klopovc Posted September 30, 2012 Share Posted September 30, 2012 Hi folks! Im back , this time not with 150W HPS but with 250W HPS in same box (60x60x120cm). I use 12 liter pots ,Neuhaus N8 soil, fertilizers Plagroon Alga Bloom and Green Sensation.Strains are Acapulco Gold from Barneys Farm and Arjans Haze #3 from GHS.Today they are 14 days old from seed ( they are under 150W HPS+40W CFL, next week i will put them under 250W HPS and veg them for 3-4 more weeks then i will put them to flower).Temperatures in box are 25-26 c when lights are on and 20-21 when lights are off. RH is from 50%-60%Day 14 from seed ( the bigger one is Arjans Haze#3- bitch is already 30 cm wide ) 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

klopovc Posted October 3, 2012 Author Share Posted October 3, 2012 Hi folks!Little update from today. Its a day 17 from seed or we can say day 17 of vegetation. Plants are doing fine for now. Both plants are 15cm( 6 inches) high, Acapulco gold is 25cm(10 inches) wide and Arjans Haze #3 is 32cm(cca 13 inches) wide,and both of them have 5 internodes(set of leaves).Temperature in box is great i think , its 26 c(78-79 F) , rh 58%. No fertilizers for now, just plain water and i dont think i will need to fertilize them in vegetation:) . They are still under 150W HPS+40W CFL until day 21 , then i will hit them with 250W HPS grolux to then end .No more talking , its picture time AH3 on the right, AG on left 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And i will try to raise it to 65% until flowering comes then lower to 40-45%.Yes my room is a little low (its 120cm ( 4ft)high), but i will scrog the plants so i think there will be no problem. For AH3 im sure there will be no problem becouse i growed this strain already in same box with 150W. And friend growed here before under 250W and now under 400W and she is not a stretching alot and its very bushy without toping.For Acapulco Gold i dont know nothing yet , but ill do my best to make her as low as i can. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If i go 30cm i will have only 25cm left for plants to go above the screen.I can still put her higher. What do you think? Maybe 20cm ? Thnx for replys! klopovc Posted October 7, 2012 Author Share Posted October 7, 2012 Hi ! Me again:) . Its day 21 from seed today, so i instaled 250W HPS Sylavania Grolux( i hope this one is a good growing bulb:) ). I had some problems with high temperatures when 250W instaled but i solved that with stronger outake fan. Now temps are 25-26 C (77-79 F) above the screen ,and RH is still around 55%.Some pictures of my 250W setup in 3.4 sqft (0.33m2) box. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This is a mini grow-room that allows you to grow 2 Sativas and your plants look more advanced at day 21 than most of mine with more watts. Mus be the distance of the lights, that make them grow so fast. I usually put them 1 meter away from a 400 Watt MH , in order not to burn them. Lesson learnt. !Great journal you got. You should see my friends AH#3 and AG growing under 400W in 0.5m2(5.4sqft) box in 30 liter pots.Those plants are monsters.And he keeps his light with cooltube 30cm above the plants . I know that Acapulco streches alot in flower( friend have one and she streched 4 more weeks into flower), but for haze i think there will be no problems becouse she dont stretch alot.What do you think ?
