The Trinidad Roll-on *

11 posts in this topic

After watching the Trinidad and St.Vincent expedition (millions of times ha ha) and noticing when he creates the Trinidad Roll on joint/spliff

My thoughts are - How much does the cigarette filter affect the potency of the joint? does it not remove some of the hit?

yeah i don't think it changes potency neither.. maybe so little that like tok said we wouldn't feel it ^^

I like those cellulose paper, i've been using them sometimes for a few years, always pleasant to smoke, but such a pain in the ass to roll lolol :)

Have a good smoke guys

Yeah the Aleda branded ones became very popular in the UK a few years back.^

I enjoyed them at first- finding that i tasted more flavour from the bud i was smoking but after using consistently instead of paper i got headaches?!

I rolled one once, not with the clear rolling paper but with another one, replaced the filter for a paper one though.

I already tryed this type of rolling here is my point of view :

First, by rolling like that, the cigarette act as a long filter, so the weed smokes filters trough the tabaco, and then the tabaco taste a bit like the weed.

BUT you still got the cigarette filter, and the cigarette paper so as soon as you hit the cigarette the taste is awfull. I mean its a cigarette who taste a bit the weed no more no less...

If you never tryed, try this : take just the paper of the cigarette, burn it and just smell how the smoke stink the death.

About the celulose paper I tryed once, I felt I was smoking with plastic paper, I never bought some after that, better use Hemp papers.

So I think it's better to mix the tabaco and the weed on a joint than smoking the trinidaad way, this way you don't got cigarette paper, no cigarette filter, a "smaller" thing to smoke, and a better taste.

After all it is a matter of taste and colors and traditions :D

My 2 cts.

-Peace.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
