fotocycle idea based on 12+1/5,5 fotoperiod thread

from what i have gethered form threads about that innovential fotoperiod :

- we try to simmulate outdor conditions

- 12 H or more copnstant darknes is the factor inducing flowering ( important that its darkness and not lightness )

- biggest grow in plants we see when lights are off

- when lights are on plants store sun energy instead of concentrating on growing

is there anything wrong in my assumptions ?

if not why not to set you rlights this way :

weg:

4 h on /1h off 5h on / 1h off 4h on / 9 h off = 13 h of light

OR - for ppl prefering 16/8

5 h on /1h off 5h on / 1h off 5h on / 9 h off = 15h of light

for flowering we could set :

1st 3 weeds 6h on / 1h off 5h on / 12 h off = 11 h of light / 12h constant darkness / 1 h interwal beween lights on

2nd 3 weeks 5h on / 2h off 5h on / 13 h off = 10 h of light / 12h constant darkness / 2 h interwal beween lights on

3rd 3+ weeks 5h on / 3h off 4h on / 14 h off = 9 h of light / 12h constant darkness / 3 h interwal beween lights on

OR - for ppl prefering 12/12

12 h on / 12 h off - theres no other way unles we consider extendidn fotoperiod past 24 h

what do we gain ?

- in natural enviroments we have clouds and sun movement so dark periods during day are common so we mimic natural enviroment better then ithout them

- the more energy plants store the harder is for them to store more dark interwals let plant to use some of the stored energy to start metabolism proceses and resuply and refresh fotosyntesis chains

we have an article about that somewhere, and Fuzzy has tried it i believe, sounds not that bad but don't know if i will do it personally things i've heard about it were not really making me wanna try ^^

Not bad thing i heard, but saying it has nothing special in the end.

12/5,5-1-5,5 - yes and it was OK , did not noticed great diffrens between 12/12 from seed nor 16/8 weg , but i wasnt collecting any data nor was doing control samples so its only based on m y feelings

what i have suggested in here i havenot tested yet but i am planinig on , maybe i will do test it in upcomming contest : ]

You are saying someon sugested the same idea i did now ? could you healp me and find the thread ? ( yeh i am one layzy ass: P )

well it is not suggesting sam thing as you , but it's a thread about the photoperiod type ^^

yes i think it's the same one as the one in blogs,think i saw a vid once too but dont remember the title lol, sorry ^^
