Never used them but here is some info that might help mate ;)

Exhale CO2 bags are a more harmonious way of providing your plants with CO2. The best thing about using them is they are maintenance free, generate no heat and using no electricity!

Photosynthesis is the process by which plant leaves make carbohydrates. Sunlight, CO2 and water are converted into carbohydrates and O2 by the action of chlorophyll in the chloroplasts of the plant. Plants growing indoors under artificial light often lack enough CO2 to efficiently photosynthesize. When plants are able to maximize the process of photosynthesis, the result is larger plants with larger yields.

ExHale can be used for both vegetative plant growth as well as for fruit and flower production. ExHale cultivates CO2 24 hours a day with no need to refill bottles or use expensive CO2 production units. The power of ExHale lies in the mycelial mass inside the vented cultivator. This mycelial mass cultivates CO2 and the microporous breather patch releases CO2 continually for up to 6 months. ExHale comes complete and is cultivating CO2 even before you get out of the checkout line. No need to turn it on or turn it off, simply place ExHale in your grow space and leave it alone to do its job. The ExHale Cultivator is designed for small to medium grow spaces, or more specifically 1 ExHale Cultivator will provide 4-6 plants with the CO2 they need. A continuous shower of CO2 directly onto your plants is the most efficient way to deliver CO2. Placing the ExHale Cultivator slightly above the level of your plants will insure they receive the CO2 they need 24 hours a day for up to 6 months!

How to use Exhale CO2 bags:

Place the bag slightly above your plants in your grow space. CO2 being heavier than O2 will precipitate downward toward your plants.

You will notice a change in appearance in the mycelial mass. Overtime it will take on a whitish look which is normal.

Do not open the Exhale cultivator, doing so will interrupt the cultivation of CO2 and could possibly contaminate the mycelial mass.

Frequently asked questions:

Q- How long will ExHale cultivate CO2?

A- You can expect ExHale to cultivate CO2 for up

to 6 months.

Q- Does ExHale create heat?

A- No, ExHale does not create heat or pose any

fire danger.

Q- What does the filter patch do?

A- The filter patch allows gaseous compounds

such as O2 to enter the bag and CO2 to exit the

bag. Depending upon conditions the bag may

inflate, however this is not an indication of

performance. If the mycelium is growing, then

the CO2 is flowing.

Q- Where should I put ExHale?

A- Place ExHale slightly above the height of the

plants in your grow space. CO2 being heavier

than O2 will precipitate downward towards your

plants.

Q- What size of a room will ExHale

accommodate?

A- ExHale will accommodate small to medium

grow spaces, or more specifically 1 ExHale

Cultivator will provide 4-6 plants with the CO2

they need. A continuous shower of CO2 directly

onto your plants is the most efficient way to

deliver CO2.

Q- What is inside the ExHale Cultivator?

A- Inside the ExHale cultivator is a non-fruiting

mycelial mass that is growing on organic matter.

NO manure is used and there is no odor.

Q- Does ExHale come with instructions?

A- Yes, the instructions are right on the bag.

Q- Does ExHale require any electricity or special

regulators?

A-No, ExHale comes complete No need to turn it

on or turn it off. Simply leave ExHale alone to do

its job.

Q- What do I do with the ExHale Cultivator after

6 months.

A- The ExHale Cultivator is 100% recyclable.

Simply remove the contents and mix into your

compost pile or use as a soil amendment. The bag

can be recycled through your local plastic

recycler.

Our conclusion is Exhale CO2 bags provide lots of benefits for a low cost. Only $35 bucks a bag buys you 6 monthes of simple, effective, environmentally friendly CO2. Come on done to Victory Hydro Garden and try one out for yourself! Hundreds of bags sold and not a single disappointed customer to date!

Not worth the time to keep moving them, we just left them hanging up in the rooms. It doesn't hurt the ladies, from my experience the bags are a safe way to co2 feed. We do dry ice in small amounts now. Flood the rooms out. Those bags were 30$ u.s. last time we got some we needed 6-8 bags per cycle. Too much money going out. Keep it green. jah

Make your own CO2 generator cheap!!!

get a water bottle. fill it halfway, put 1 tsp sugur and 1 tsp dry active yeast in the water. Shake up in water bottle, then poke a hole in the top of the water bottle and place it near budding plant. Produces CO2 for 6 hours, then just cover the hole and shake up. continuous CO2 real cheap. Try it out. :]

Heres a few few threads about Co2 production from the forums, hope you enjoy ;)

there a few reviews on Amazon about these bags.

Read them here - http://www.amazon.com/ExHale-Homegrown-your-indoor-plants/product-reviews/B00546SAZC

Without a co2 sensor/meter it is impossible to know wether they are pumping out enough co2 to make a difference.

The cheapest co2 monitor I found (from hong kong) - Link - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Desktop-CARBON-DIOXIDE-CO2-Indoor-Air-Quality-Monitor-Temperature-RH-0-2000ppm-/360829051479?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5403166257

Looking around it seems that co2 in cylinder is really very inexpensive ie. less than buying one of these bags. You may have to buy a cylinder and then you get it topped up or rent the cylinder and top it up.

EDIT - Just found this video -

I hope not to be discouraged, but in my opinion, all those things serve no CO2.

Using Co2 correctly, you need a CO2 cartridge, and also, must a gauge which measures the parts per million of CO2.

To make good use of CO2, and get the maximum performance, need a very complex system utilization, and gauge particles. It is indispensable.

There are many bags, homemade tricks, prefabricated cubes ..... but really, very little useful.

Regards!! :)

Do you mean its best to use a bottle and regulator&control unit ive got bottle&regulator just got to get control im using a bag at the moment and the two plants under the bag are massive copared to all the others I thought I had a hot spot but its the co2 bag but you are right I dont now how much co2 is coming out

I mean the only way to properly use CO2, is a gauge that measures the amount of CO2 that is used in growing, in parts per million of molecules.

Everything else is just marqueting to sell products with CO2, but really are not very effective, you may no great changes those items.

Crops with CO2 are incredible, but it is a necessary very big  investment of money  in order to optimize correctly.

regards! :)

Imo the next monymaker in this buisness...

CO2 is totally useless in Tents and small rooms..

nothing outthere will magically increase ur Harvest and CO2 is only viable if ur Plant is 100% perfect grown if ur not totaly sure u can make that dont even bother.

and even then its such a marginal effect that in a tent it will not even be noticable.

CO2 makes sense in rooms bigger that 50m2 of this point u will be able to see a slight up in yield.

So as long ur not a commercial Grower in a big scale u will only waste money and if u are u shold invest in a real setup and not those mony ripoff products ;)

cheers
