My brother has travel for work to Uzbekistan, and he say that peopel there is really nice and welcomeing.

None of the countries is dangerous, like the neighbors Iran and China

(I would not want to be cacht smoking in neither of them)

Life is cheap so making a month traveling around has to cost nothing, the most expensive part will be the travel to get there.

They are big time unexplore, unlike Africa or Sudamerica

The 4 of them are close geographycaly to Afganistan Pakistan, and north India. And but is more important they are in similar latitudes, so the clima will be ok for are plants to grow there

I´m sure that in the valleys between the montains has to be landraces waiting to be descover and smoked.

All of those countries are undoubtedly big hash producers. But I wouldn't describe them as "safe" countries. The people might be friendly but they have a really dirty and disgusting security service ala KGB style in those states (former Soviet sattelite states=not good, many problems). And I don't know to what degree, or even if they allow independent journalists there. There were some major demonstations against the government in Uzbekistan a few years ago, if u guys remember, and the military opened fire and killed somewhere around 500 demonstrators! So they're not so nice over there! Afghanistan is a better choice (I know it sounds cracy) as long as you get protection from local clan leaders etc. you're pretty much safe since they take things like honor very seriously there. Besides, police and government doesn't have much control on the Afghani countryside which makes you pretty independent. If the police is fighting drugs there its predominantly poppy growers they focus on, hashish isnt a big deal for them there. Would be a good idea to save out the beard and look as "Afghani" as possible though! An expedition to Mazar-e-Sharif and Balkh would be amazing!

And no, they don't speak english. They speak a kind of turkish language (Central Asia is actually the native home of the turks before they strated emigrating to Anatolia) but a guess yo could find one or two who knows at least some broken english ...

As another poster pointed out, I wouldn't describe these countries as safe. I'm sure they have some solid untouched landraces, but I think the risk would be too much for the Strain Hunters. Turkmenistan is hard as hell to get into (It is close to North Korea level seclusion) and the Karimov  is on the same level as the countries you said it was better than. If they are going to go to that part of the world Kyrgyzstan is definitely the best option, but it has some major drawbacks too. Of course it would be nice to see Central Asia get some attention.

About 2 months ago, I was in Turkmenistan for work with the oil and gas company I work for. While there, I was gifted a brown paper bag full of some fluffy lime green bud from an old colleague. I asked the guy about it and he told me that it was from is Uncles farmhouse. They have been growing cannabis as a family trade for multiple generations with the same genetics.

That part of the world has an apparent shortage of cannabis and most of the locals smoke dark brown, almost black colored hashish. But it was cool that I got to smoke some bud there since it's rare.

Anyway, it's funny I found this thread because I literally just dropped a couple of beans into soil. Maybe, I should post a pic of the seeds once they sprout? Would anyone be interested?

Oh yeah btw...

While I had some downtime overseas, I did go hiking and trekking and the wild cannabis plants I did find were mostly Cannabis Ruderalis. I know they have hash plants and Sativa plants too but I didn't have that much time to explore.

Can't forget, I was there to extract hydrocarbons, not look for Cannabis, lol.

Se la vie.............
