E.C Whats your perfect range for all stages?

6 posts in this topic

Thought i would ask the question as so many people do and say differently according to Nutes and advice given?

Usually i like to get my veg plants up to 1.8-2.0 ec at/ready for flower

And depending on ratio of nutes, brand, strain etc i can take it up to 2.8 ec in flower no problems...

I see a lot of guides and advice not exceeding 1.8 ec ever ??

Is it just that i don't have my head around NPK ratios yet that im doing such high ec with certain set ups etc?^^

Also hear lots of people saying higher ec in hydro required but i dont find this to be the case with most strains?

And also get told an old wife's tale that plant get wider stems and more growth when hitting 2.0 ec ?

If the plant can take it okay, in general these numbers are from long term experience, so why not try it within that range if posible ?

You will see the difference..

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
