The discoloured one had the shell from the seed locked around the first set of leaves resulting in the leaves was getting no light.

Regarding your assumption to what ever there is rouderails in the genetic of this strain your absolutely right I don't know.. but like you I will wait in anticipation to hear what others have to say about that. :-)

Dont u used some can aerosol on them ? Mine got blasted that way got similar look as yours.

Hi friend,

I see that everything continues apace, grow healthy, healthy, good job. Curious yellow leaves after dry, it may be some kind of fungus? sure all controlled.

Here we continue to see them grow, keep it up ;)

Best regards

Thanks a lot friend. Yes it's looking really good love the simplicity the powder feeding provides in contrast to the feeding programme from Advanced Nutrients that I am used to use with my 6 different bottles for growth and other 13 through out bloom phase and flush :-)

Regarding my promiscuous looking plant I can say with a 100% certain that it's not mold or fungi believe me when I say that I have examinedthis very intense since it's the first time in my twenty years of growing that I have come across this very issue.. never seen any thing like this before and after talking to a lot of experienced fellow growers the only explanation I can come up with is this. That when the seed sprouted the shell from the seed cap was still capped around the first set of leaves and since the plant was still very fragile I could not peal it of before the plant had grown a little stronger and cracked the seed shell a little more. And since the plant kept growing in those days it took for the plant to crack the shell just enough for me to be able to remove the shells with out making any damage to the young and fragile plant and the only conclusion I can come up with is that the leaves did not recive any light in thouse days they were capped in the shell and their fore where yellov when I removed the seed cap and it affected the first two sets of real leaves aswell..

Progress so far is that all ten plants are looking great and the one with the yellow leaves are comming around and the new leaves are looking nicely green and like the rest of the other nine plants vevry naturly green and vevry healthy. I will ad some pictures to morrow since its ligths off right now...

I can't say what makes your plant have this weird colouration, but years ago a friend of mine hade a "Shiva Shanti" that was variagated and was nick named "The Freak".

Here is a picture which i copied and pasted from ICMag, although it gives no answers it is a very interesting picture and is another example which one might assume (for the lack of statistical data) it may be a gentic abnormality.

Thanks for the update, good to hear everything is on track and the powder feeding is doing a good job.

Look forward to some pictures tomorrow.

Update...

All ten plants are looking nice and healthy. The promiscuous one is still having a issue and I don't know if it will grow out of it.. but even then it too is looking nice and healthy... plants are kept in veg and will stay that way for a full four week period and then moved to the blooming room for the finishing bloom phase. Clones will be made of each plant to save females and individual pheno types and all male materiel will be destroyed.

Ph is kept between 5,8-6,0 and the ppm around 1000.

Humidity between 40-50 and temp 25-20

Thanks all Friends :-)

Due to a lot of turbulence in my life and in my family concerning my children which have forced me away from my projects and my babies. Everything once again seems to be okay and it looks like it's gonna be a Mary Christmas afterall.. and for that I truly feel blessed..

Regarding the plants all of them still looks amazing in my eyes. Everything is kept controlled with temp at 26 in light and propping down to 19 when lights go of. Humidity is kept between 40-50 and the water temp is set at 19.

The feeding is turned up a notch and are around 1000 ppm with a ph of 5,8..

Light cycles is 18/6 still under 4x55w T5..

I will start the cloning process in the days between Christmas and the New year only if the situation in my family and my life will remain stable otherwise It will be when time allows me...

Thanks a lot friend... the girls are gonna be switched to bloom in 3 weeks or less depending on my Kosher Kush whom are going into late bloom next week and then they just needs to be flushed and harvested and then I am ready to start the bloom phase on the white lemon. It's very exciting and so far the genetics within the white lemon seems heroic and I think that if she is given everything she could every desire she easily could grow enormous almost like a Christmas tree. I just love that natural green color of those fan leaves.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
