alright man, the plants are doing nice. those are gonna be some big momma's going for a full 4 week veg. is that 4 weeks plus germination or 4 weeks from seed?

It's defiantly 4 weeks plus since it all depends on the finishing of my kosher kush :-) space is the issue here. So all in all they will get between 7-8 weeks from seeds before they will placed in the flowering room. That should give them enough hormones to easily make clones from all ten plants and hopefully I'll find a pheno type I would be happy with :-) That's what I want for Christmas. :-)

Mary Christmas all my friends...

Sorry once again for this very late update..

All ten plants are looking very healthy and beginning to show of signs of their sexual gender. They have been moved into the flowering room and will be turned into 12/12 in some days. In the meanwhile about five clones will be taken from each plant disorder to save the different phenotypes.

Room temp. Is kept between 19 degrees at night to 25-26 degrees during the day.

Room humidity is kept between 40-50 % at all time controlled with a 200m3 air intake and a 1500m3 out let through a control unit.

Walter is osmosic and the nutrients are powder feeding from Green House Seeds. The ppm will be raised to about 1500-1600 for a week to fully loade up the plants with nitrogen. Then the ppm will be kept around 1100 throughout the entire flowering period.

The promiscuous plant is still showing signs of the wired color on only half of some of the leaves. It doesn't seems to let go and I am very curious to see if this will affect the clones taken from her.

I will never forget all my wonderful friends at StrainHunters. I didn't know about the potential mg and calcium deficiency combined with the use of RO water and fortunaly I haven't seen any deficiency but maby that's because I pumped up the ppm a little to around 1600 ?

Once again thanks for your concern friend...

well good to hear for you!! It's surprising as your in coco you don't even have the soil to compensate but yeah like you said might be the EC that helped :)

True that. RO water is great but it is also very clean from all kinds of stuff and not only the "bad" stuff.

1600PPM seem very high but they show good health and in a good vigour.

I had a lot higher by mistake once and they could handle it well.

Keep on going dude and be back soon.

EDIT: Btw, what a huge and nice room you have...

Thanks friend.. :-)

Update.

Okay I have turned off the osmosic water supply and are now running on clean tap water in addition to what Dust and Tokage wrote.. ppm is turned down to around 1100 and ph is kept at 6,3.. temp and humidity is kept between 19-25 and around 40-50.

All plants are doing great and all ten plants have shown their sex and all ten plants are female's :-)

I never figure you got an jungle like this! And it´s all green and healthy! I think your thoughts about the tap water is clever. With an mind like that you are in for no nasty surprises.

Thanks Friend. :-)

Not to brag but I do think I have a very nice room and it's working 100% for me with no stress from heat or humidity no bugs or fungi issues and with non female showing any signs of male flowers what so ever. But I have one wish to optimize the room to almost perfection.

It's a combined unit called the opticlimate it can control day temp and night temp while it dehumidyfies and cleans the air from 90% of all smells without sucking all the applyed co2 out of the room furthermore it distributes the co2 above the plants and monitors and controls the levels of co2. It's simply the optimal climate making unit for indoor growing.. Opticlimate :-)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
