Maximizing Light

6 posts in this topic

If im already running a 1000watt light in a smaller space will I benifit from adding a second HID 1000watt or 600watt hps light.Heat is not an issue im using air cooled light tubes and I have lots of Electric capability.Im going to upgrade my walls with Mylar too its only flat white now. Will two 1000's side by side give me greater yeild off the same amount of plants?

for shure, the more light they get , bigger the buds grow =)

maybe 2x 600w kits ? will produce more light output then a 1000w bulb and a wither reach =)

I'm down with Jay I'ld go with 2 600 watt hps,,

If you wanna add a bit more veg to the mix go with Sylvania Grolux Lamps,,

They're colour adjusted to provide a broader spectrum,,

(especialy in the blue spectrum)

They perform pretty well in both the veg and bloom,,

Might give you the result your after,,

Myself I prefer the Son-t plus,,

But hey thats just Me,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

did you know that you get a super son-t plus aswell

and i would say stick with the 1000 as its able to penatrate

further into the cannopy than a 600 i think a 600

does like 3 feet plus distance from topps.

plus all depends on size of area and number of plants!

In my modest opinion, if you have the possibility of increasing to 1600 total watts without overheating, then do it.

In Holland they say licht is gewicht. Light is grams.

And that is very, very true.....;-)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
