Soon the sprouts are starting to show themselves, ones with more rush then the others but that’s the way life goes and soon all will be catching up the others is just a matter of time ,at this time we should turn on a fan in a low velocity to evaporate some moist out of the soil and don’t want to make to much win so when they grow they don`t bend but enough to make them shake a bit, this stimulates cellulose growth meaning thicker stems and stimulates the stretch of the roots for more grid to the soil , with this in a while we should start seeing any time now some roots coming out to the bottom of the seeds tray thats when i transplant them to a bigger pot.I advise you to transplant them thru a few and get a nice root volume before you put them to flower,i believe with this you have less chances off failure and improve yield. The lights, I stand them about 5 cm from the sprouts just in case they grow to much and hit the lights .If stretching occurs we can use it in our advantage,i tell you next time how we do that.

So, some hours have passed and the seedlings have all germinate , some of them seems to be a little lazy , i keep my fan blowing in low speed my temp around 24 Celsius at day and 20 at night my humidity stands at 65 %.We can see that some are already well developed then the others but that not something we cant handle about but wait ,about stretching the one thing we can do to is when we transplant them to the next pot we stand the roots ball in the bottom of the pot and cover the stem with soil aligning the top of the plants, also more and new roots will develop thru the stem till the top of the soil giving more power to the plantThanks to Code , Dust and all falowerspost-8614-0-15776000-1355659222.jpgpost-8614-0-55800000-1355659288.jpgpost-8614-0-89357800-1355659267.jpgpost-8614-0-14470800-1355659238.jpg

Hi friend,

They look great those little, and putting his head;). Beware the substrate is moist but never waterlogged good because the root does not breathe well.

It's a good mix mycorrhizae, very beneficial for the substrate and plants, I have wanted to see them grow!

Good start :kingchris:

Regards!!

Excellent and easy to follow journal. I am one of those transplanting plants a few times before flowering (and flush them properly when they are in the final pot for flowering).. The work pays off usually and you can be sure about the roots of your plants that way.

That soil looks nice enough to eat, can see that the seedlings love it !

Peace + Grow

Now as we can see the first pair of true lief is out and the soil is almost fully dry the roots are getting out so its time to transplant them to a bigger pot ,this time i´m gonna use the same soil mix with same e.c feeding (120msy)on the watering and 5.5 ph. As i said they are all slowly catching up the others almost all at the same size

Never seen seeds turning into such uniform strong straight up standing soldiers like yours. Same with the root development - simply impressive. You sure is a pro when it comes to growing. Every step is well planned out nad the stuff you use is the best around. Is there a chance to order those starter cup blocks and the red turbe online ? Bet that is great for clones, too ?

If yes a link would be great !

Kee it green.

One week after transplant them to bigger pots we can see the well develop roots coming out the holes and soon as the soil dry out its time to arrange some extra space for the roots and some feed too ,this time i use a 1.5l square pot i advise using this type of pot if you have space issues cause it can fullfil and organize your empty space .i feed also with the same ac ....to be continuepost-8614-0-37127000-1355661934.jpgpost-8614-0-41121900-1355660851.jpgpost-8614-0-76328200-1355660952.jpgpost-8614-0-68192400-1355660935.jpgpost-8614-0-61125400-1355660874.jpgpost-8614-0-52659900-1355660659.jpgpost-8614-0-18956000-1355661771.jpgpost-8614-0-59722000-1355843535.jpg

Hey,

nice progress there.

Q: aren't u afraid that the roots will grow out of the bottom of the container into the soil ? Or is this wanted ?

Apart from that it all looks great, the roots cry for more media to grow into......yippie------>

Fim MG

Hi Fim thanks for dropping by ,the main reason i do this is because this way i give the roots the possibility of keep growing instead of drying out , as you can see on the pic above they dont have any root-tip damaged cause i dont give them time to do that its just time for transplant ,beside never had problems with plants that do that but never the less i´m taking an extra care with this babys

Hi bro,

You see them healthy and strong, moss refers to high humidity, so I suppose that the earth takes a while to dry, it is good to put more fertilizer to compensate. You see them healthy and eager to grow strong and vigorous, good job ;)

Merry Christmas friend :santaclaus:

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
