girls lookin good.

This soil flies are terrible. I had them when i used soil that was stored outside.

I ever had compo sana soil till i figured that out. With soil from the grow shop it wasnt that bad and never has been.

The yellow cards work well and i like them too. Lets hope your girls dont mind the little struggle. Good luck.

Great cup Journal Mate, like what i can see, beautifull Girls you grow there :D

I agree with tokage let the uperside dry out the they breed in wet soil till 4 cm in the medium so let them dry out and water from below and in 2-3 weeks you will have so good as no flies and with the time no one... just my recommend

wish you good luck bro

have a healthy grow

What´s up elektro.

Your babies are looking really good.

When i have problems with those flies ( "mosca del mantillo", I don´t know the name in English) i use Neem Cake.

The Neem cake is the powder resulting from the crushing of the Neem tree seeds.

You can add some of this fine powder mixing it with the top layer of the soil, the product will slowly go down every time you water your plants.

The reason why you dont´t see the larvae is because the flies put their eggs under the soil close to the stem and the superficial roots.

The larvae then feed from the base of the stem and they can do a lot of damage, you can check the base of the stem for scares.

Anyways I don´t think it would be a mayor problem with your plants because you are cutting their life cycle with the yellow traps.

This are examples of what this fuckers can do to the stem in case of a mayor infestation.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
