White Lemon strain info thread

3 posts in this topic

( Hi , as i am taking part in the contest with this strain i decided to creat thread in which we can share info abut its genetics and phenotypes that we will grow from the seeds )

White Lemon:

flowering time: 9-10 weeks

genetics: hybrid (Super Lemon Haze x El Nino)

size: medium/tall

So we have female SLH that was polinated with a male of El Nino , now lets dispose them to their orgins

( Lemon Skunk * Super Silver Haze) * ( Haze x Super Skunk x Brazilian x South Indian)

the problem is with El nino as I am not sure how the 4 plants were mixed but lets use the easiest way at the begining and assume ( untill we have better info ) it was haze* SS female polinated with Brazilian * SI male

so we have

( Lemon Skunk * Super Silver Haze) * [( Haze x Super Skunk) x (Brazilian x South Indian)]

now as we know from genetic lessons some of the features are determined by 1 gen and some are multigen , for those 2nd type of features we will get averge mixture in WL

but those that are determined with 1 gen should give us fenotypes :

for :

Lemon skunk dominant mother crosed with 1. haze dominant father 2. haze SS dominant 3. haze Brazilian dominant 4. haze SI dominant , 5 balanced , 6. SS Brazilian dominant , 7.SS SI dominant , 8. haze recesive 9.SS recesiv 10. Brazilian recesiv 11.SI recesiv

Balanced mother crosed with 1. haze dominant father 2. haze SS dominant 3. haze Brazilian dominant 4. haze SI dominant , 5 balanced , 6. SS Brazilian dominant , 7.SS SI dominant , 8. haze recesive 9.SS recesiv 10. Brazilian recesiv 11.SI recesiv

SSH dominant mother crosed with 1. haze dominant father 2. haze SS dominant 3. haze Brazilian dominant 4. haze SI dominant , 5 balanced , 6. SS Brazilian dominant , 7.SS SI dominant , 8. haze recesive 9.SS recesiv 10. Brazilian recesiv 11.SI recesiv

that give us 33 potential fenotypes :]

So when you Notice your plants to show diffrent features ( F.E. 1 plant has thinner and 2nd thicker leafs ) plz do a pic comparing them and post them here with Your observations :]

well its vary simplyfied , the real number is almost unlimited , also many from those 33 probobly are not dinstinguisable but its possible , what i proposed are most common possible combinations of their parents features for example - El ninos dark green leafs - IF ( IF ! ) it was determined by 1 gen we could see dark and light plants , and depending on its domminancy it would give diffrent effects depending on other anncestors gens , but if its multigen we would see all the variations possible between dark and light

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
