Never seen plants grow oots throu a pot like that. I had tried them but crumbled it away before transplanting. Still got a few of those pots around, will put them to use next time. I don't know what it is since the riits look good, but some leaves look a bit uhealthy, maybe it is the Kush or they lack something. The ants stuff is very pure, but got no nutrients, so ou should definitely feed them a little bit of NPK or some Super Vit etc. . Number 4 is in critical condition, hope she makes it !

Just watch her, don't touch the leaves or you might kill her...

Good luck . The others are past the worse and with the fresh oil they will grow rapido..

Peace

Yeah I like how the peat pots worked out. I think I should have planted the pot a little deeper down, it looks a bit tacky sticking up like that. I think I'll cut the part sticking out off next time I'm up in the grow room ^^

Time for another update. It's been a while because I wanted to let the soil really dry out. (I cant find any explanation for why plant 4 died but I'm thinking it might be over watering as the soil was really moist. weird it only happened to one plant though :/)

post-18467-0-80443800-1355151534.jpg

it looks like 3 stretched to far and snapped :s so i staked it up and very gently tied it up

thanks for the news man ;)

to me new sets of leaves look good too, should soon start to look like nice little teenagers ;) for next time you have a long stem, weither you can add soil like our dear Tokage loves to do hihi ;) works really well and will hold the stem nicely, or what i do is i put a plastic glass upside down with the bottom of the glass cutted off and i fill it with soil make a mini pot of the cm you want you just have to cut to choose your size.

Have a good grow man keep the pics coming ;)

so we are at the top of week three ^^ its exciting i feel like they are gonna shoot up any day now. i cant wait for these ladies to start their vertical growth. we are at two inter nodes and counting. also the leaves are starting to show that fatness i love to see. but its starting to get some weird discolorations as well. i would be surprised if its a deficiency i would think it would have to be a micro neut its missing i have dosed it with canna start and there are supposed to be tons of neuts in the soil. i think im getting misinformation and crap products from my local hydro shop but i hear there's another one i can go to next time i need something.

Gettin better bro. love to see that.

One question about this bag pots. it looks like they stand very flat "sealed" to that plastic trays.

Just make sure enough air get get underneath too, that keeps the roots from rotting and you out of the troublezone.

Maybe u place under one side of the pot something, so that the pot gets liftet just a bit. On regular pots you dont have big gaps, but you see them clearly, i cant see that here, its just an idea.

For feeding i would take this "extensions" away and let the pots stand flat again.

You feed from below or? Maybe not now but you plan?

world peace

Thanks Dust.

Yes they have Fran it was so hard to wait a full week to take pics I'm trying to not flood with to many pics that don't show much difference ^^

Atrox - I am watering from the top, i haven't had many problems with this on the last half grow i did. the trays have ridges in them but the pot bottom is flat.

thanks for your support guys if you have any questions or any advice or anything like that feel free to pass them on ^^

Hi guys, while I was stoned looking at my plants today I was struck by the view of the fresh new perfect little fat fan leave chilling there on the top of the plant. I thought I would share this with you guys as well as a few other photos of my room and the plants chilling there in the part of the world they will ever see while alive. I am really amazed at the smell up there, its not quite skunky yet, I would say its planty with a hint of skunk. I got a feeling that this is going to be a good one.

Dust- yes its mylar i need to clean it off though.

Ganjamann and atrox, i have been letting the soil get dryer and dryer ever time I water. I have been using ph balanced water trying to keep it around 6 with the liquid indicator stuff. I generally water about once a week I use a little under a gallon on all four plants when the get really dry, they spend about a day in completely dry soil before i water again.

If a plant grow like yours I am sure you o things right. Looks can be deceiving. I prefer steady watering every day or 2, after flushing 3 or 4 days but everybody can do that the way he prefers it - seeing this rapid growth makes me think aobut changing to a 5 day schedule with 1 day dry soil for the roots, too.

Hello again folks,

It's time for my favorite thing about Monday ^^ Today begins week 4, I hoping to get a bit more height before I go into 12/12. I'm debating on either transplanting to bigger pots or just staying in the one gallon. I'm not sure if the root system has fully filled this out or not. One thing that really made me happy (apart from the lovely smell of the plants doing their thing) is the new growth sprouts I'm getting under the big fan leaves.

This being my first time observing the vegetative cycle, I quite enjoyed spotting those.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
