Nice time lapse Bozoph.

One thing I liked was that the plant twists as it grows , something we would not have seen if it were not for the time lapse.

Between 1:18 & 1:57 (mins & seconds) the plant does a full 180o half turn. The leaf on the right ends up as the leaf on the left.

Keep those pics and films coming.

Peace

Lams

How long run time on 4AA?

depends on the lapse setting. at a pic every 30 min for 3 weeks the cam was still at 66% charged

Day 48

I decided to go a different route then i anticipated. Since i have no other plants at this exact stage,so I decided to clone. I will be fallowing with the time lapse from clone to full blown. sorry every 1 for getting your hopes up with this plant, but she will make a fine mother.

Cloning is as fallows

Step 1- round up your supplys. I use root riot cubes, plantroids rooting gel, mondi propagation dome, sunblaster 23w t5 and a 23w zoo med heat pad( for a lizard tank)

post-8622-0-48249300-1358409170.jpg

Step 2- choose your top

post-8622-0-04483200-1358409187.jpg

Step 3- immediately dunk cutting in a glass of water ( unneeded step but it helps eliminate the chance for an embelizum)

post-8622-0-78829300-1358409207.jpg

Step 4- coat cut with rooting hormone

post-8622-0-84395800-1358409227.jpg

Step 5- cut off big fan leaves and trim the rest (unneeded step but it helps eliminate the chance for mold from overlapping leaves in the clone dome. and helps speed rooting because the plants have less stored food and think they really need it)

post-8622-0-05087200-1358409250.jpg

Step 6- put cutting in the cube and add to the dome

I only took 1 clone for now. Ill wait and see if i want more. I really like the structure of the cheese, but it still hasn't shown sex.

Rooting has slowed a little because my heat pad crapped out and i just realized. So i added my smaller 4w heat pad for some heat.

Cloning step 7

Waiting on roots

I plan on trying to time lapse the emerging roots. But I have to figure out a way 1st. I've got a few ideas though ;)

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
