gonzosghost
Hey folks, I've been toying with the idea of using prime bud for BHO and it would be nice to get an idea how to purge safely and effectively so I'm not fumbling around like a fool As discussed on another thread, there's a lot of people purging their extracts these days and it would be good to try and optimize this procedure. So if anyone has their own techniques, methods, tricks and tips on the subject feel free to comment. As Lams said if we could all do a little research we can all benefit from it Respect LETS PURGE!!! Will use the trim for BHO and the buds for dry ice runs Need to get all over this subject in the next few days...don't worry folks, I'm on it Here's a start to the whole thing....except where to get a funky pump purger thingy? Lol Tokage? Where'd you get yours dude? has it arrived yet?
bozoph
u can get a purge pump at the auto parts store. its actually for bleeding your brakes.
Guscode
NO they don't tokage! For an good 'n easy purge you couldn't use that crap of vac pump. For round about 150€ you get a vaible pump 'n chamber. With the Pump in your link you couldn't evacuate the chamber. It's "low pressure" but no usefull "vacuum" something like this is was you needhttps://www.google.de/shopping/product/14390375980532473394?q=vakuumpumpe&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=de&client=safari&sa=X&ei=97a6UOKcJZT54QTS_oCABA&ved=0CEgQ8wIwAg#hsec:overviewAndhttp://item.mobileweb.ebay.de/viewitem?itemId=200857149174&index=1&nav=SEARCH&nid=65112745422
bozoph
sorry but u dont need that fancy of a pump. any thing capable of bringing the vacuum to 25-30hg is fine. that is within the range of a 20$ brake bleeder.
gonzosghost
Good news Bozoph cheers Anyway here's a handy link from someone that at the very least sounds like they know what they're talking about, lol https://www.thcfarmer.com/community/threads/bho-purging-method.30770/
lamsbread
Vaccuum purging is a very good way to get rid of the butane.Motorized vaccuum pumps cost between 100-200 euros or you could try this method i found on youtube, where a guy uses a vaccuum food storage container and a vaccuumpump/brake bleed kit.Vaccuum pump/brake bleed kit - http://www.amazon.co...d/dp/B0007VT4RCVaccuum pump brake bleed kit uk http://www.ebay.co.u...leed kit&_rdc=1Vacuvin food saver - http://www.vacuvinon...age/B000XR49HA/There is also alot of useful info here - https://www.thcfarme...g-method.30770/PeaceLams

gonzosghost
lol...I thought you had posted it further up the thread and I missed it. I've been testing the Super Lemon Haze that's curing in jars and I'm so baked Anyway that's cool, will just leave that link and give you another here. Safer method of purging...
MissKittyKat
you can use a mityvac or any kind of brake bleeding hand pump and a mason jar. This is the cheap way to vacuum purge. Your best bet is to get a 2 or 3 stage vacuum pump electric and use a proper vacuum chamber.if you check out www.extractionexperts.com you can buy all the pumps and purging equipment you need. Guscode
Did we realy need the extractor Kitty? Of course i've used him to many times, but my next run will go with the "low presure butan extraction" wich lamb copy/pasted in the Amber Glass thread...did you know any disadvantages of this method? Bigbrown
Yo guys, regarding the vaccuum pumps, just find a decent looking refrigerator or a freezer, could be very cheap or even free!Open that baby up and you will find one, prolly sphere-shaped.The water way looks nice too thou.Haven't tried BHO myself but im looking forward to it, looks like some potent stuff
gonzosghost
Nice link kitty, I may just buy a proper pump and chamber. Made some lastnight with 10gs of nice trim and I'm still slowly purging this sh*t. Been flashing my lighter across it in a vain attempt to rid the bubbles. In any case it's gradually getting clearer and harder...

MissKittyKat
So here is a picture of the hand pump i got from a retail stroe like wal-mart. Its called Canadian Tire here in Canada buts is just like wal-mart or target. I picked it up for about 69 bucks. Has all the parts needed to get rteady just need a mason jar and a drill or make a hole on the top lid. Then cover it with the suction cup that came with the pump and start purging! You really dont need the electric pump unless you are making a lot and don't have the time. Some pumps are better then others get one that is good and goes up to about 50. This ones goes to 50 but I think you only need about 32 or 36 pressure to make it purge correctly.
