White Lemon Exodus Cheese.....PowderFeeding vs Gaia

72 posts in this topic

Hello everyone I present this current cycle with 6 Exodus Cheese and Lemon White 14.

Plants were born November 15 and have been placed in 6 neon 28W 6400K in the box growth for the first two weeks in pandora's 6.5-liter pot.

temperature of the box 24 ° UR72-86% with 18 hours of light.

they still spent two weeks in the small box (120x80x100) in 1 MH 400W.

at the end of the 4th week of vegetative phase I made a new batch in bags of fabric about 20/25lt with a generous dose of mycorrhiza I sprinkled the loaves of land.

the medium in which I grow my plants is a simple mix of soil for sowing, perlite and many mycorrhizae.

during the vegetative phase all the plants were fertilized with the line "Gaia" and gave them radix and vegetabilis 1ml/lt alternated with irrigation water only with pH6, 5.

after the transfer I moved the plants in the flowering room (240x180x250) arranging the sides under 2 mh 400W for 1 week and then adding another 2 400W HPS until the end of the 6th week of vegetative when I changed the 2 MH and I finally used 4x400Wgreenpower philips.

in the flowering room I started to bend and tie the plants x open and encourage the development of the lower branches.

at the same time I directed the plants where they wanted, almost horizontally, to cover the surface I have available under the lamps.

Now we come to the end of the 3rd week of flowering and the beginning of the flowering stage I started to differentiate fertilization when they have 2 tanks (180x100) I separated the plants (3 E.C.+7 WL ) on each side and I fertilized with PowderFeeding the right side and the left side with Fructus and Floridus of Gaia (organic liquid fertilizers) .

so far the plants are in great shape and show no differences between the one and the other.

later continue with the post details and photos of the various stages.

see you soon!

wow man thanks for all those details info on the room work and pictures, those girls look perfectly healthy you seme to manage them perfectly and they for sure give it back to you :D

Flowering room looks even better once the canopy is formed very nice job on that stage too, and with that many light they will for sure be wonderful :D

I think i would only advice you to do 2MH and 2 HPS running during the flowering, if our former grow guru Flower_to_the_peoplepass by he will probably tell you and very often advice this to people so i think i can safely advice it to you too ;) and from times to times switch the places of the bulbs will probably be good ;)

anyway you run everything like a pro and i'm sure you 'll show us some pretty girls ;)

Thanks for sharing keep the pics coming

Have a good grow

thanks for the nice things you said about the work I have done so far.

Today ends the 3rd week of flowering and the situation looks good to me, vegetative growth was enough to fill almost the illuminated surface and that makes me optimistic about the result that from now on I can get.

I am very proud of my work, my preparation very simple and my lack of experience, I have friends in the forum overgrow in Italian.

I will begin to increase fertilizer from 1 to 1.2 mlt/lt-1gr/lt ml/lt-1, 2gr/lt to provide more nutrients at this stage of completion vegetative growth and begin to form the first real flowers, I think plants will love!

prepare 50 liters of solution per 25lt tank, before giving the answer I keep it next to the stove x raise the temperature from 10 ° to about 20 °, it takes a whole afternoon to warm it, then run to get everything ready and will be ready tonight .

ciao.

Dust: "I think i would only advice you to do 2MH and 2 HPS running during the flowering....."

thanks for the advice Dust.

I have already experienced two previous cycles, the use of MH and HPS during flowering and I've seen it with my own eyes the beneficial effect of the use of both types of light.

I intend to begin the use of mH from the 4th week of flowering until the end of the cycle and I will rotate the position of the bulbs every week as you wisely advise me.

thank you!!

today I watered increasing the dose as I said in my previous post.

only 1 E.C. shows some small signs of over (yellowing of the tips of new leaves) is one of the plants that are fertilized with Gaia, it is not a problem, I will check carefully its response to increased fertilizer, hopefully good.

ciao

Hello everyone!

small update photo.24° day of flowering.

Dust said as more flowers are formed becomes more beautiful to see.

with each passing day the flowers grow visibly.

plants have appreciated the increased use of fertilizers and have absorbed all the liquid in 30 minutes, leaving no residue in the tanks to drain.

I have to close all air inlets from the outside during the hours of darkness the humidity rises to 90% and the temperature drops to 15.5 °, too high the first and too low the second! !

only taking air from inside the building risk that the maximum temperature rise too high because the air is very hot inside that provide 24 ° -26 ° and as the inlet temperature may be too high.

today will test it tomorrow and I will tell you.

at the bottom, next to the fan, left and right there are the 6 Exodus Cheese, these plants have formed a pillow very compact and also after the ligature of the same height, much more manageable of Withe Lemon that is very hard to slow the development vertical .

the E.C. have shown once more slender plants such as size of the stem and branches, but this has facilitated the binding operations and now present themselves well.

I greet all of you and leave you with some pictures.

ciao

I am pleased that the view you like and that you appreciate my work Tokage!

I also closed the second input of outside air and the humidity is decreased to 48% -62%, but the maximum temperature has risen up to 32 ° with a minimum of 17.6 °.

I would say that the problem is solved.

I had to raise again the lamps, in particular the WL continued their growth and the height difference with the EC begins to be evident, even though it does not create problems to the penetration capacity of the 400 that up to 60cm from the bulb still offer a discreet illumination.

soon with new photo updates.

ciao.

day after day the grow fills more and more of flowers that begin to produce a certain amount of resin.

we arrived on the 32nd day of bloom, with a delay of about one week on the WL the E.C. begin to form flowers worthy of note.

the height of the lamps is now 125cm from the ground, there are 20cm. between the bulbs and the highest peaks and about 40cm from lower plants.

I must admit that at the time the PowderFeeding is proving to be very effective and the plants are in perfect health, and the right side of the grow is fuller than the left fertilized with Gaia.

most likely not have been able to divide equally the plants and the major development is not solely due to differences in fertilization.

I am aware that a fair comparison was made with clones of the same plant and not from seed, I'm still very impressed by the perfect state of health of the plants treated with PowderFeeding and the fact that we have reacted better to the increase in fertilizer plants fertilized with manure organic (to whom I am very fond of).

the quality of my photos is bad I can not compete with the beautiful images that users Straihunters posting every day, but I hope they are equally acceptable to all.

happy holidays to all.....ciaooooo.

update on the 34th day of flowering.

maximum temperature stabilized at 28.5 °, 17.2 ° minimum, UR48% -72%.

today I changed 2 HPS lamps with 2 MH.now i've 2MH 400+2 HPS 400.

I never brought fertilization with N from 4th week of flowering, usually arrived at this point I start to let the plants use all N available to them to get through discharge, this time with the PowderFeeding I give a certain amount of N up to 8 weeks and it leaves me to think!!!

observing well the plants treated with Gaia (fertilizer for flowering do not have much N) I find many primary leaves yellowed, while the other side with PowderFeeding plants have continued in perfect health also leaves less exposed, this shows a larger contribution of N that hope to be able to eliminate with 10 days of water only at the end.

new photo update tomorrow ............ Merry Christmas to all.

good infos man, i noticed too the girls often get read of the lower leaves with the powderfeeding, which is not to make me unhappy as i usually do it myself i like to see the plant do it alone ;) lot more light and air goes through as long as you keep enough leaves to make her breath nicely and be happy :)

I l'll be waiting for next pictures have a good grow and have a good holidays ;)

Hello everyone, I was wrong we are today on the 32nd day of flowering, in the post on December 25, said to have arrived on the 34th day ... sorry.

every day is the most obvious difference between the two sides of the grow.

I am amazed by what I see!

plants treated with PowderFeeding explode and filled their space, there is a significant density peaks.

I increased fertilizer for both sides of the grow, I think the next two weeks are those during which the plants will eat more and I'll try to give them what they want without overdoing it.

45gr/30lt solution (1.5 g / l) of PowderFeeding.

50 +50 ml/30lt solution (1.66 ml / l) of floridus and fructus.

T. and U.R. are always stable.

on W.L. falls on the first "snow" and show very early, as always!

very good smell of EC, sweet and very intense.

here is some shots!

yes, both tops W.L. that those of E.C. very fragrant, the W.L. have their strong and pungent aroma of lemon, while the EC they have the sweetest aroma like vanilla .... I do not know how to define, but delicious!

last update of the year.

all goes well, the plants are in perfect health and produce resin in abundance, especially WL :)

small problem that I hope to have solved in the best way: it is not the 'energy for more than 1 hour before It returned I turned off the lights, to avoid stress light (on / off) that would be affected in a few hours.

so I just reduced the day to 8 hours, everything goes back to normal tomorrow.

I made some shots, always of low quality, the beauty of grow should be shown with better pictures!

happy new year to all!

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
