Cannabis Cup 2013 - Greenhouse Hybrids - COMPLETE

152 posts in this topic

Thanks my friends ! Indeed ever since I switched on that second light this grow makes me feel real good. Things are constantly improving, all but the smallest new Hybrids exposed pre-flowers clearly. So this is an important info.

The bigger plants are 1 month into flowering i would say I expect that one Damnesia to be ready early in april, the Misterion takes a bit longer - a stretchy outdoor favorite that fills up the large space between internodes slowly but surely with large flowers and colorful buds. The trimmed damnesia might need about the same time, while my secret favorite that bushy bonsai-pheno will probably keep up in flowering, too.I really like those new hybrids, not exactly sure which seeds made it besides the Trainwreck, but my guess is that one is an AMS, leave size and grow structure reminds me of Damnesia..we will see which is which soon enough. The White Widow is lso packing up nicely.. not to mention the new batch of Autos, all looking great so far.

since i ran out of weed I was lucky enough to find me nice homegrown Super Skunk and Misterion from a buddy.

That skunk odor fills up any room in a minute. The buds are so sticky, like glue - it is crazy - strong medicine while the Misteion sports a more fruity aroma and a smoother softer more happy and giggly high.

Impressive colas each weighed around 40 grams !

a real good grower !(esp. given the low budget LED based grow room he got).

check

left = Misteron (own strain - cultivated and passed on for 7 outdoor seasons now first time indoors)

right = Skunk Number One AUTO from Sensie Seed(with these massive red haisr, sticky like glue)

The Skunk is stronger but the Misterion is nicer imo

Room is looking really busy..it takes some real talent to keep that many different strains at that many different stages happy :) :) Sad to hear you are out but it's always good to have friends with buds like that to help you out and you won't be out for long. Real nice cola's..tell your friend I said congrats! :) Best of luck with your ladies Bam!

Done some flushing on three of the Hybrids and put them in 11 litre pots afterwards, they are really nice flowering girls by now, very vital and nicely stretching their leaves towards that light ! Could not be more happy. Train Wreck looks as if it was topped, but I did not. The other reminds me a lot of the DAMNESIA, so my guess is that is the AMS . Each one will soon be recognizable as well. The White Widow has been growing nicely and moved into a bigger pot as well.

The 4 adults are also on a good way - one DAMNESIA is fattening up like crazy and starts to smell viciousely good. A slightly different note than what I remember. The Misterion catches up fine, too. That topped girl I stripped bare is crazy bushy all over again..lol; while that Bonsai pheno Dam is getting bushier and bigger / taller like a true champ. Something sports grotwh and budding. Might be the Shooting Poweder and Big Bud, plus the lights are placed as closely as possible all the times. I check 2 to 4 times per shift to see which plants need better placement in order to gvce each the same amount of top lights. 800 watts makes all the difference !

Pictures will follow, once they are awaken from their well deserved rest !

Peace & Grow

Right 1

what you see here are the remaining 3 Damnesias from the Cup and 1 Misterion. I flushed the bushy plant you mention. I want to repot her but neeed fresh soil or coco for that. You also see a White widow and one of the new Hybrids (color coded), that is back in development.

Below there are pictures of the 3 strong Hybrids, the tallest is the Train wreck, one seems to be an AMS, the other a Chhuch; but I am not 100% sure. These girls are doing especially good, all in flowering stage..the White widow also amazes me..

Later on I show pix from the new autos in the other contest forum.

It is very hard to get a real good sight of a plant, only aspects of certain parts. The girls start to smell strong I witched on the ventilation tonight..

Heya Bam, all those Greenhouse beauties are looking lush green and super healthy..nice job on keeping a mixed group so happy :) I'm really impressed with the Trainwreck..those leaves are massive and she is super lush..have you considered cloning her? :)

And auto's now too? No wonder find stash everywhere :) I had some really nice tropical ice from a dispensary here before...looked very much like yours..enjoy my friend!!

Thanks friends. Regarding cloning, a bit too late now and also i want to take a well deserved rest/holiday after this massive grow project; so taking clones is not an option at the moment. but in general these are nice strains I might use as mothers for a SoG one day.

Finally dissolved the last brick of coco and put that bushy "bonsai" Damnesia in an 11 litre pot as well. This is a pheno I would like to clone as well.

ap9roachin week 7 of the flowering period and one Damnesia and that Misterion are far ahead, while the topped bushy one was a bit stunted by all those leave pruning - only to grow more leaves...lol and that Bonsai pheno, that concentrated on growing as many side branches as possible . All in their final shoes, flushed and all .. Getting Hlome & Garden Shooting powder along the good Hydro powder feeding of course. ph 5. 8 to 6.2 EC between 1.8 and 2 . watering a little bit each day is my favorite.nuff talk here they are :In front picture one DAMNESIA top pheno in front on the left - seen on picture 1picture 2 shows the Misterion with a few leaves of the Damnesia in the front. picture 3 shows the opped Damnesia, that was heavily pruned. group shot not really clear.Still to come the special girl, Miss Bonsai amazing how many branches and flowers it is pushing forward. Done some heavy bending with shoe strings to let some light into that massive jungle of leaves - That is what you get from picking leaves in VEG. Growing more and more than normal..good to know. Plus it takes longer for the plants to ripen. One is ready end of the month but the others will take a few weeks longer i bet.All started to show pre-flowers at the very beginning of last month (February) 6 weeks passed since then.. Damnesia + Misterion are changing the colrs from yellow to a more metallic black-ish. Both smell delicious fruity the Misterion and sweet and exotic the juicy amnesia buds. Wonderful - a happy bunch !

Yeah, good stuff, this time I made and make sure there is no light wasted - the new Hybrids are flowering nice, too - juszt that Church surprises me with 2 really really fat fan leaves and nothing in between, looks as if I had picked it, but I cannot remember me doing anything at all wit the color coded Hybrids, looks strange broad leaves bushy as fuck with dozens of flowering off shoot..lol

Oops, little accident. Seems the lights were a bit too close on my beloved tall Damnesia - .the top bud was burnt from one side, usually i check every 4 hours but for whatever reasons yesterday it was more like 10 hours I did some feeding, repotting of seedlings etc. and when I took out the Damnesia from the back under the Spread-A-Wing I had to take away that burnt 3 or 4 cm of the newest grown top. Hope this does not stunt the grwoth of the top. I left a burnt spot once and the outcome was bad. No more real healthy budding going on; so taking it away was hopefully the better decision.

With that Spreader it is different WHERE the plant stans- same distance in the front is okay, while it can be devastating in the back, where some un-spread light gets real hot and exactly that what happened - to cool her off I moved the 2 mosst avancedand tallest plants under the Cool Tube with more distance to the light this time. Man that Misterion smells so damn sweet + fruity, yummie !

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
