Flushed after Day 16 of flowering at PH 6.0 EC 1.3
Will now let dry the soil for 5 to 6 days to get a maximum oxygen to the roots, then will feed again at EC 1.6
They don't seems to stretch much, but I got 2 different sizes, they go from 55-60 cm for the smaller ones to 80cm for the bigger ones at the moment. Big ones have huge leaves.

04-03-2013 - Day 22 Flowering
Fed this week at PH 6.1 EC 1.6 after the flush and dry, will flush a second time at EC 1.3 end of the week. (2 flushs between week 2 and 5).
Some nice little flowers are there, we can see that some phenos are faster than others.
There is a particularly one sativa like fairly high with thin branches, others are quite homogeneous, big strong branches.

It's end of week 6 of flowering, Fed this week at PH 6.3 EC 1.7.

It's end of week 7 of flowering, Fed this week at PH 6.4 EC 1.8.
As I said some weeks ago we can see some faster phenotypes that could be finished end of week 8-9, but i'll keep them until end of week 9 to 10 for maximum ripe.
I guess the rest will be ready end of week 10-11.

Effects :

  • Strong, very relaxing in same time, long lasting stoned effect.

What I can tell about this strain - Money Maker :

  • Another name for it : Kief Maker.
  • Kush & Fruits (Citrus, Grapefruit) smell/taste, some pine smell too. (Strong Kush taste after curing)
  • Dense buds.
  • Easy to grow.
  • Fast genetic.
  • Strong and branchy.
  • In soil I will recommend 1 Pre veg week + minimum 4 veg weeks for the most common phenotype. (You can go up to more weeks according to your room space.)
  • 9 to 10 flowering weeks for the fastest phenotype, 11 to 12 flowering weeks for the longest phenotype for maximum ripe.
  • As an Indica it don’t stretch much except for one phenotype who can stretch more, (I had 1 on 8 Money Makers “Sativa-like” phenotype).
  • I had no balls, no hermies.
  • They can eat and drink a lot.
  • React very well with FIM or Toping techniques.

Tips :
Some tips that will help your grow getting better, and getting better weed (for all strains) :

  • Watch your PH, 5.5 to 6.5. In soil start with PH 5.5 in veg time, then raise it progressively by 0.1 to 0.2 every flowering week. At the lasts flowering weeks you must be at PH 6.5 max.
  • Watch your EC don’t be too low, don’t be too high, with Powder Feeding it’s precise like 0.1g/L can make you a bit out of the values. (PH meter and EC meter are required).
  • Do NOT water too often, let the soil dry for 3 to 5 days between the watering. (For example in flowering I water them every 4 days, they are on 7.5L and 12L pots)
  • The room MUST be completely in the dark in the night period, watch out for some lights around the room, even a little light can cause some troubles in flowering period.
  • Do not defoliate the plant at any moment, let the leaves fall by themselves, because every leaf on the plant, even a dying one is beneficial for the plant, and helps the plant breath and eat.
  • You can simply cross the leaves to get a better light penetration into your plant.
  • Near week 4-5 of flowering you must be around 50-55% humidity into the room, I will recommend running the extractor 24h/24h even before week 4 and of course some ventilation into the room. This way you will avoid the mold. (Even a little mold on your plant can be too late (the time you spot it), and your weed can already have a bad taste).
  • Temp. Day : 24°C-27°C, Temp. Night : 20°C-21°C.
  • Dry your weed for 7 to 10 days at around 20°C-24°C 50-55% humidity.
  • When it’s dry put it in glass jars, and open them 3 times a week for 30mins to 1 hour. The longer you will let it stay into a glass jar, the better it will be. (More potent, more taste/flavor)
  • Some advanced techniques for the curing says keeping the weed at 60%-62% humidity will helps the trichomes stay on the buds because it’s less dry and they don’t fall into the bottom of the glass jar.

Thanks lambs, yeah Im always using Biobizz All Mix.

Usually I buy new soil at every grow and use Light Mix for the 15 first days then All Mix but this time I'm using reused soil of All Mix and Light Mix (80%-20%).

Edit : Using reused soil for the beginning, but will switch to fresh new soil when repot.

Any advice you can give will surely be a benefit to myself and other growers.

Thanks in advance

Yeah sure, that’s a first time for me using reused soil. They say you can reuse it for a year or so, but after that session it will go outdoor :D

First of all make sure your soil from your previous grow is nicely flushed.

Then you can use this trick to sort it (or something similar) : http://www.strainhunters.com/forums/topic/4732-an-easy-way-to-sort-your-soil-for-reuse/#entry59345

Depend on how long you stocked it the soil will be very dry so you will have to water enough to avoid dry soil packets.

I hope It will help

Peace.

Thanks for the info and the link, I liked your other post :D hehe nice use of a salad spinner!

Here is a bit of info from the Biobizz website.

Re-use your All·Mix®

  • Remove the top surface layer of soil from the pot or bed and discard it. This soil may contain insect eggs or larvae. Even if you are certain it is free of eggs or larvae, it is best to be on the safe side.
  • If you intend to reuse the soil, prune the plant leaving just a small stalk and the roots in the soil. Then pull up the stem up and remove the roots completely.
  • Sift through the soil with your fingers or a hand fork and remove as many of the old roots as possible. Leaving a few behind is not a problem, however larger root mass will use more of the soil's energy for decomposition.
  • Add fresh Pre·Mix™ and Worm·Humus™, then moisten and leave in a warm place for at least a week.

Peace

Lams

Thanks to you all, I didn't started as good as I wanted and I hope I'll not have to much problems, but time will tell :)

Actually everything is running nicely but there are two that I will have to watch, one got smaller leaves, one got "curved" leaves, but it's maybe nothing serious.

We will see in some days or in a week.

I added some more pictures in the first post.

hmm if i can give you one advice don't feed your girls until at least 2-3 weeks ( or 3 4 level of leaves), or until they ask for it

I have been using Light mix for a long time now, and let the girls without feeding for that same time more or less, i used all mix once or twice and stoped using it cause it was a little too strong to let me feed the girls like i wanted too before that 2 week limit, so if you decide to feed, go very slow and careful with them ;)

Soil looks really wet too, hope you give them some nice drying after that ;) But i don't worry too much i know you grow your girls good ;)

Good luck man

Yeah for the feeding usually I don't feed until 2 to 3 first weeks but I am on a reused flushed soil for the first part of the veg so I feeded once with a little amount (0.25g/L).

When I'll repot with AllMix I won't feed again for 15 days then will start the feeding with small amounts and will increase progressively.

On past grows I was on LightMix for the veg then AllMix + BioGrow, Bloom, Topmax and Heaven I used same thing, no feeding for 15 days after repot then with low amounts of nutes, then increasing, that way it's not too strong.

But you are right, by following BioBizz shuddle at a moment you can see it's too strong (even by applying lower doses as recommanded).

That being said, Im a first time user of Powder Feeding and I'll go very carefully with that.

Soil is wet because I just watered.

Thanks bro,

Peace

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
