4 posts in this topic

It will be intersting to see how things work out when Washington State's new Governor Jay Inslee meets with Federal Officials from the US Justice Department to see what they are going to do about the Cannabis issue.

Aloha Tokage, I met Jay Inslee years ago when he would stand on a busy street corner for hours running for office as a Congressman. It is good the people of Washington State elected a man who believes in science and that global warming is an issue that should taken seriously. Jay also knows that his win in the Governors election was a narrow one and the Cannabis proposal won with a very convincing margin. Here is a little insight from a very talented individual who is one of Jay's old friends.

Aloha Tokage, David Horsey is not only a great writer but a World Class cartoonist too. He used to work in Seattle News until the LA Times made him an offer he could not refuse. Here is a good one about conservatives in America and how they love their guns

Tokage, I am happy I live in Hawaii where we have high standards about who is permitted to own a firearm. (we have the most comprehensive gun control laws and the lowest rate of gun violence in the USA). When I decided to retire to a warmer climate the politics and gun crime issues made Arizona, Texas, and Florida look far less attractive than here in the Aloha State of Hawaii. Our politicians are well aware that tourism is the engine of our economy and we have to convince people from Asia, and Europe that there will be nothing to fear.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
