GHSC Super Silver Haze

137 posts in this topic

So while waiting on my crop I've decided to do journal.

Equipment used.

4 GHSC SSH FEM

1 amazon 4 pot aeroponic system

1 100w halogen mini flood

1 90w LED (UFO STYLE) TRI-SPECTRUM.

Grodan rock wool cubes

Clay balls

Ph ec temp meters

Nutrient wise GHSC Powderfeed long flower

Grow style.

Aeroponic SCROG

When I got my seeds I popped my seeds into the trusty old

toilet paper and soaked, covered with some cling film and

placed in a nice dark warm cosy environment. I do this because

I know it works.

After checking the seeds every 12 hrs I noticed this after 24 hrs. So I put them into the 1inch cubes into another

cotainer and covered with more clingfilm. I bury the seeds 10mm in the cubes. Once again back into a wsrm dark environment till they pop up and then I remove the clingfilm and place them into the light. I cover them witha plastic container to act as a propagation unit/ mini greenhouse. Once all 4 have popped up and are established I'll remove the diffuser. Checking them every 12hrs during this stage.

After noticing one was growing a bit more than the others I decided to put then into their pots. Still no watering since soaking the cubes in distilled water. So far this has taken 3 days from germination.

UPDATE

DAY 10 From Germination

So I had a look in on the girls just now and decided to house them in their new home as roots are coming through

and I noticed they looked as though some had dried or got damaged on the clay balls the pots were sitting on. I also gave them

some water no nutes at Ph 5.5 ec not registered.

Now for the visual stimulant. Oh if anyone sees something needing

addressed then please say so all criticism welcomed.

The girls settled in. I hope for them to grow towards the centre of the kit and if they don't I'll have to make them. This is because I'm going to attempt my first SCROG .

nice choice. The SSH never disappoints. I'm cultivating right now 4 plants and have 3 phenotypes.

Keep us updating. Really nice setup... the dimension of the AERoponic sistem?? this plants grow pretty big... keep in mind that they need space

The system is a little over 2ft square I'm going to scrog the 4

of these so i can keep a better control of the branches and bud

This will be the second time I've grown this strain fron GHSC and

as I found out the first time it can get away from you. Ended up at

5.5ft tall growing 4.5ft from the start of flowering. Buds were big

and plentiful it tasted real nice with a high that was just right.

A person at work(and some of his friends) claimed it was just as

good as the hydro stuff they buy fron canada.

The last time I grew this I didn't bother with an ec ph temp meter

I put my sativa mix from GHSC into the system when seedlings

Ready and boom 12weeks later great smoking. I used Advanced

Nutrients grow, micro, bloom with overdrive.

I broke one of my girls in 2 places. Im gutted, feeling so low.

I managed to get her tied up to a kebab skewer straight away but im not

sure if she'll make it. I ve never broke a plant ever. Im way out of my

comfort zone. Im feeling speechless and withdrawn.

About us

Strain Hunters is a series of documentaries aimed at informing the general public about the quest for the preservation of the cannabis plant in the form of particularly vulnerable landraces originating in the poorest areas of the planet.

Cannabis, one of the most ancient plants known to man, used in every civilisation all over the world for medicinal and recreational purposes, is facing a very real threat of extinction. One day these plants could be helpful in developing better medications for the sick and the suffering. We feel it is our duty to preserve as many cannabis landraces in our genetic database, and by breeding them into other well-studied medicinal strains for the sole purpose of scientific research.
